Jesus taught “Love you God with all your heart and all your soul.” And “Love your fellow man as you love yourself.”

Mohammed taught “Fear God, for he delights in torturing unbelievers in the afterlife.” And “Obey Mohammed in everything he says.”

Jesus’ teachings built upon the law of Moses, amplifying them and bringing them into focus. Mohammed’s teachings brought him wealth and power and sex, but seemed to have little to do with Moses' teachings.

Why is this, if the message is supposed to have come from the same God?

B: And exactly which of those Mosaic laws did Mohammed reccomend we follow? It seems he never mentions the ten commandments . . . .

Reading through the Koran with Tabari as a guide, it seems like Mohammed can't even consider a Meccan without calling hell-fire down upon him, and often going into pornographic detail about what awaits those who don't follow Mohammed. If you can't find these passages, you're not looking very hard.

The Pickthall translation online that I have, the word "fear" appears 320 times in the Koran. By way of comparison, that's three times more often than it appears in the New Testament.

Felonius: Revelation is an interpretation of prophetic vision recounted by a man who obviously didn't understand all that he saw. It hasn't happened yet, and imagined depravity takes back seat to real depravity as recounted in Islamic scripture.

Richie Spice: Obviously YOU haven't read the Koran. Muhammed got 20% of everything that his followers stole on more than 75 documented raids. He got extremely angry when the spoils were put to use before he got his cut. He used this booty to bribe his mercenary cohort to maintain their allegiance (Most bedouin didn't believe in Allah, they were in it for the money, too). Like any thief who has never produced a thing in his life, Muhammed didn't know how to handle money, so no matter how much wealth he stole, he squandered it.

Cpt America, Every Prophet from Moses to Christ added to the message from God, expounding on what came before and refining it. Muhammed added nothing but contradiction.

Robert p: Though not mentioned by name, Islam is pretty clearly prophesied in Isaiah 14.

Jesus
-Jesus is the true God
-Jesus spoke truth

Mohammed
-Mohammed's god (Allah) is false and doesn't exist
-Muhammed lied

Don't say that the true God, the LORD and Allah is same...Allah is a false god, a idol...the name Allah actually originates from the false god-idol Baal.

Jimmy Carter will become the Antichrist aka Dajjal (8th King in Rev. 17) and he will serve another term in office after the death of Obama (7th king). The angel Gabriel told me in Aug. 1973 when i was in Phillipsbrug, Montana that Jimmy Carter will become the Anti-Christ, and that he is going to change his name, and divorce his wife! Obama is going to die first and then the Anti-Christ aka Dajjal who was one of the previous 7 Presidents will take his place! Rev. 17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, [and] the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. All 7 kings were all alive until the death of Ronald Reagan June 5, 2004 when George W. Bush was in office ; 1. Gerald Ford 2. Jimmy Carter 3. Ronald Reagan 4. George H. W. Bush 5. Bill Clinton 6. George W. Bush.... is spoken of in the present tense (and one is) because until Reagan died (June 5, 2004) all 7 were alive! 7. Barack Obama.......and one is yet to come! He will die a few days after he raises taxes! Obama is also in Dan. 11:20 Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes [in] the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle. Rev. 17:11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

Why did it take the Christians so many centuries to finally publish an unbiased interpretation of the Islam faith?

Did you know Muhammud was painted to be the anti-christ for hundreds of years. The date of his death was ALTERED to read 666 - thirty-eight years off!!

Have you actually READ the Koran?

PS. I am a floored Unitarian

If you are doing something wrong in this world then you will have to fear God. If you are serving humanity you will love your God naturally. This is this difference between both teaching.

Jesus was crucified (shed His blood to pay for all mankind's sins) centuries before anyone knew who Mohammad was.Nowhere is someone like Mohammad mentioned in the bible (OT or NT).The Messiah Jesus is prophesied many times (OT).

you're wrong. But if you will give me specific incidents to prove your point then I will debate you, but this is useless. Anyone can come here and say anything they want. Your assumptions are very wrong, please start learning what Muhammed (pbuh) actually taught so that at least we will actually have something to discuss. Muhammed didn't change the Laws of Moses, he came to Make sure that they would be followed.
