For increasing our Love for the Lord we should have utmost Loving Devotion and Bhakti towards him in our Heart. This is enough and the Lord will accept us affectionately what ever we offer to him. Thus our Love will be increased for the Lord-
Bhagwan Sri Krishna says in Chapter 9, verse 26 as -
Patram, Pushpam, Phalam, Toyam yo me Bhakty prayacchati-
tad aham bhakty-upahrtam asnami Pryatatmanah-
Meaning in English-
Whoever with loving devotion offers unto Me a leaf, a flower, a fruit or water, I affectionately accept that devotional offering from that pure hearted being-

Dear one, in order to increase your love for the most beauty-full, power-full and lovely and love-full, wonderful soul in the whole universe you just have to know Him better and take time to think of Him as he is. That's all.
When you know Him then you will understand that you love Him because He loves you in the first place. To be able to receive more of His infinite love you need to become more like Him. He is Truth, Benefactor and Beautyful.
Truth means sincere and that means His thoughts and feelings are pure and so would be His words and actions.
Benefactor means that by knowing the great secret that there are only WIN-WIN situations He benefits everyone to win even more bliss to His infinite bliss.
Beautyful means pure and divine. Divine means conscious of the self and pure means sanskars (personality) filled with purity.

I think the only way to increase our Love for the Lord is to decrease the Love of our own lives. We must die to self,in order to live unto Him. There are no shortcuts.

For me I look, really look, for all that God has done and especially for me personally. Counting my blessings makes a big difference. I mean really counting, writing them down one by one. For some reason, seeing it in black and white makes a difference for me, rather than just taking a mental note. Looking at all the things we can do for others to make their burden a bit lighter as well makes a difference for me. Listing all the things I don't like about my life on another list helps me too, as I realize I can make most of these better, simply because God gave me the ability to. Yes we all have things in our life that we do not like, and that hurts. However it has been said that what doesn't kill us will make us stronger. I believe this to be true, if I allow God to do His/Her thing, and don't get in God's way. Hope this helps, let me know.

By adopting the attitude of gratitude. Count ur blessings and thank God for his grace and abundance. Ur happiness will grow and so will ur love for the Lord. U can give happiness when u r happy but must remember to give by saying Thank U God for blessing me.

Just by follwing the divine laws he made, he said that by following his diivine laws we are safe from any evil.
It is not hard to increase love for us in god eyes. becouse god loves us and everyhuman being much than our own mothers do ! - We should never think how to increase lord's love in front of Our EYES ! coz he is most mercifull, most benificial, the only lord
We dont need to sacrifice our pleasures in life, god has gave us all kind of pleasures in life in right ways. God said live life bounty full, in the right path - u will find all pleasures and peace, god created earth FOR US to live so beautiful. try to be good amoung human beings BY just following the divine laws god made- u will find heaven on earth, GOD LOVES US , LIKE ANYTHING, UNDERSTAND HIS LOVE, Adore him, ONLY ONE THING - HAVE FAITH ON HIM

Through studying His word, talking/praying to Him, meditating on all the ways He has blessed us, by showing love to others. Basically by really developing a close and personal relationship with Him. He is our Father, our Saviour, our Friend and so much more. If we get to know Him, we can't help but love Him more and more.
