I agree with Stonecold. I find it odd that Hispanics in New Zealands has the guts to stand up for Human rights in Mexico, but I have been asking why I haven't seen Hispanics here demanding our government to do something on how he Mexican government treat their Southern brothers. Hispanics here have a louder voice, and we might actually get Mexico to change. THis is bad news. With reshipping, we would basically have free trade with everyone. New Zealand could have a free trade agreement with all he Asian country, and we end up with countries with abusive records selling prodicts here with out us knowing. Stuf would go to New zealand , then to Mexico, then to us, and it would hide the actual location of manufacturing. I'm still trying to figure out how my moher end up buying Iranian Saffron. (To those who wants to yell at my Mom, she didn't know until I saw the nation of origin on the package)

I do love NZ lamb. I do sometimes screw with people and refuse to use the name Kiwi fruit. It's actually Chinese gooseberry. People think I'm nuts. well maybe the appropriate word is Know. I prefer the black mussels though. but will eat the New Zealand green lips. Will not touch Orange Roughy anymore. I do hate Michael Moore, but do like Xena. Why in the heck I'm typing all this. Must be a sugar rush.

I find it funny that he angered New Zealand-ers of the Latin Community with his arrival. Which is why he kept his meeting brief.

His brief meeting with Helen Clark lasted just one hour.

President Calderon’s arrival in New Zealand raised the ire of some groups such as the NZ Latin American Solidarity Committee.

They called on Helen Clark to raise with President Calderon the issue of ongoing human right abuses in areas of Mexico such as Oaxaca and Chiapas.

President Calderon's mandate to govern is widely questioned in his own country. The recent election result which saw him elected by a narrow majority saw widespread reports of electoral system abuse, and a tense standoff between massive crowds of Mexicans in the center of Mexico City for weeks after the election.

OK here's where Helen Clark and I disagree. They are a part of Australia which already has access to the US Market. So now she too wants to use the free trade agreement to import/export products from New Zealand through Mexico.

BTW - I'd rather get products from New Zealand then the others that don't care about our strict rules regarding the poisons we got rid of, but they are using in and on products. I only disagree that she wants to use Mexico's entrance over Australia's. Like I said, only because she already has access to the US market through Australia.

Well I did notice the quote that New Zealand could use Mexico as a way to enter US markets.

Yeah, go ahead world, ship your goods south of our border, slap a sticker on it that says "made in Mexico" and wala your free to sell things to the rich & stupid Americans.

WTF is THIS $H!*!!! Caulderon can cram it!!! THIS royally ticks me off:

She then talked of the large border that Mexico shares with the United States, and the further possibilities this represents for New Zealand companies to get into the US market.

Who the hell do they think they are discussing their possibilities in the U.S.??? What? Is everyone seeing us as a free-for-all now? Thanks for the link. I'll just go breathe now.

if we don't do something our gov will continue to destroy this country. as long as we don't speak out against all the mess they are causing, they will think we want it to. the Americans who are against this need to get together by emailing each other and set up something to let our gov know we don't want all the mess they are creating for our children's future.
