Yes by all means u can change ur destiny. For this u ve to change ur thinking from negative to positive. Further do the creative visualisation of the life that u want and supplement it with positive affirmations by way of auto suggestions before going to bed. U will find miraculous change in ur destiny. But remember that ur goal should be for everyone (including urself) benefit and not for destroying anyone for ur personal grudge or animosity. Faith can move mountain so go ahead and change ur destiny and share ur experience with us.

Destiny is surely written and we will have to bear the effects of it. There is one thing that is not written and we can work for it and that is God realisation. That is the only thing which rests with us. Destiny does not rest with us.
Destiny doesn't affect you when you are in the right path towards God realisation. The reason why this life is a mess for most of us, is because we are totally depending on destiny. Some may say that they have changed their destiny by working hard this way or that way, but that they say, only to establish their supremacy over others and legitimise it.
True, you must look forward to and be optimistic in life. But look forward to what, and be optimistic of what? That is the real question and we need to find the answer to this pertinent question.

Destiny is what you make it. It changes with each & every choice you make. So in the end, your destiny is what you chose. Now is it already chosen for you? Psh, I don't believe that BS at all not even for a second. You choose your destiny, no one else. By the way, you should ask all of these people who ,so called, know hat your Destiny is already written/chosen for you... Where is this written? Have you seen where it is written? Where can I find this for evidence? And if they give you some bullshit answer like, "It was written long ago, so we cannot attain it now", "An unknown force has it" or whatever then that just proves that they don't know what the hell they're talking about & they're telling you to believe something that they themselves have no proof of. But I suppose, in the end... it's entirely based upon your beliefs.

The destiny is written by our past thoughts words and actions. That which is gone cannot be changed. But although the consequences of yesterday may still be with you, it is up to you to make today a better destiny for tomorrow. In this way there will come a time when all the consequences of the farr past would have gone and just those good ones that you have planted recently will come. Consequesnces do come as crops like this...:). If you have planted rice 5 years ago - you will not have it now. If you wish to have it next seazon you have to plant it now. It is the same with the thoughts, words and actions as the seeds of our destiny.
Also - just as if you wish to get rice you won't be planting wheat - in the same way if you wish a positive destiny you will avoid planting negative actions and you will use the seeds of positive thoughts, words and actions.
Pretty logical, no?

Destiny is written as a result of effort. So whatever destiny you want can be done by effort.

I don't believe that our destiny is written. If it was, there would be no reason for us to have free will. There really would be no reason for us to live through this h*ll we call earth. We are born onto this world again so that we can right previous mistakes right, and work off our karma. If we were not allowed to have free will, then yes, I would say that our destiny is written. But we have so many choices. I think that's one of the reasons we are alive. I think that every time I pout, or throw a fit or get negative about situations in life, I can almost see God shaking his head and saying, "Isn't that cute? She thinks throwing her little fit will change things." God knows, and Christ taught that we will React to life, but that we must choose our action wisely and Act positively to life. Reaction is simply our Emotion regarding what's happened, Action is our considered response to life.

I don't know. Because no one really knows their destiny. Only God. So if u end up the way u are, how do u know that wasn't ur destiny, or if it was because u did things to change it? I mean, u might be groomed to do one thing, and on the path of doing so...but end up doing something totally different. Who's to say that what u ended up doing wasn't what u were supposed to do? Who's to say THAT wasn't ur destiny?

Destiny can be interpreted as two different things. As a force predetermined looking from the future into the past, yes it is, as presences converged to create one path. In the case of the present looking into the future, no, as all events can be changed by our action if we know beforehand
