why do atheists seem to have to comment on religious questions about God and the bible? All they tell us is the usual God is imaginary crap or make a joke out of it.

That's not very fair. I am very interested in spiritual matters and do not regard other people's beliefs as 'crap' at all!
I enjoy learning about the beliefs people have, even if I don't share them. And I have the greatest respect for people who are able to discuss their own beliefs without feeling the need to insult others.
Many atheists feel the same way. If you look through the Q&As in this section, you'll find as many christians insulting atheists as the other way round ~ it does not seem like there is entirely tolerance on either side!
Which is a shame, really, because how can we hope to learn from each other if we won't even learn to listen TO each other?

Actually, some of my atheist friends are very well-versed in Biblical studies (one of them has authored postgraduate papers on Biblical topics). I'm a Christian, but I enjoy talking with some of the local atheists about religion because in many cases, they've studied religious texts more closely than some of the believers I know.

We don't HAVE to, we just WANT to. Why would you ask this questions to the christians, about us? Ask us, we'll explain.
This is an open forum, everyone can answer. Free exchange of information and all that. We some one asks a question about the bible the only answer that makes sense is, "Its just a bunch of old stories."

It is easy to make fun of what you don't understand. The writer and maker of the DaVinci Code knows this very well. We should be listening and speaking with each other. Christians have good reasons why they believe in Christ and atheists have reasons why they don't. The only way that differences will be resolved is when we can speak peaceablly with each other. We can explain our faith and reasons to them and they can explain their reasons to us.

They are either seeking to prove that the gods are dead or are seeking for answers themselves. Answers that are only found in Jesus, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of the Hebrews and Israelites.

I believe they make rude comments because they have beef with God, not us. Plus, Satan is hard at work keeping them away from the truth.
