Unitarian Universalists.
That's right up your alley, so to speak. But one congregation can differ from another - shop around and find one that you like.

Try the Unitarians - they believe that there is a core of truth in all religions, and therefore we should respect those of all faiths.
You might also see if there's a pagan or new-age store in your area, they can let you know of any events going on where you might meet people. In addition, get in touch with local environmental groups - a lot of pagans and neo-pagans are involved in the environmental movement.
"Neo-Pagan" (or sometimes just "Pagan") is a generic term, used to describe those who are not of any of the mainstream religions, but who consider respect for the earth and tolerance for other faiths very important.

Try Unity Churches. I was going to suggest Religious Science, but there aren't any in Indiana. But there are Unity churches. Here is a link

You will find people holding meditation groups and various other cool things. Also if you go on the Beliefnet site, they have a test that kind of classifies where you are in your beliefs and then tells you about that group. It's fun.
I know how hard it is to find others who have non-traditional beliefs or beliefs that are older than Christianity.

Well your youself i guess. A pagan is somone who respects nature and that's pretty much the worship of their religion, Everything that is natural is beautiful to them. Search it up on the internet here i'll send you a linx to help you out.

I'm a roman catholic, but i also don't share some of their boleifs. I don't think we need to go to church to connect with God. When i'm in church all i hear are people singing. They do not listen to the words because they barely understand some of the old stories or they are just falling asleep. I'll go on a special occassion like christmas or easter, but i personally think connecting with God is much better when you pray alone at nightime or in a quiet place that feels comfy. I personaly have seen change in my life when i pray. It's improved dramatically in some places and i know it wasn't just luck. As long as you boleive there is some sort of God i respect your views. I think there is a God in every religion and that connects people, but in each religion they have different stories of him. As long as it's a God of peace then i agree with them. When i pray it's like i conversate with him telling him of my day.
ps look on the internet for pagans or groups that are in your area

You could meet lots of people like you in California or Austin Texas. I don't about kokomo. Try a Unity or Unitarian church. You can also meet people on the internet. Try beliefnet.com.

The universalists are definately for you. They're spiritual, but don't really put their stake in the ground for any cohesive belief. It's a little crystal-power, I'm okay-you're okay for my taste, but it might be what you're seeking.

Start your search, by looking for Sacred Texts, try starting out with the parables of Jesus Christ, Or Kybalion, by Hermes.
