I don't know why it is that I have the hardest time keeping my Reading Glasses 'clean' for long periods of time :)
I have to clean them so many times under my kitchen faucet, using a touch of liquid soap and warm water.

But it can be very Annoying how many times a week I have to wash my Glasses.
GRRRRRRRR !!!!!!! lol

You folks who ware Eye Glasses.....do you have the same problem keeping your Glasses clean long periods of time?
Or is it just me?

You should be using eye glass cleaner on them not kitchen soap and water. You will also need to clean them at least once or more every day depending on how often you need to use them. You only mentioned needing to clean them several times a week and you really need to clean them every day. Glasses do not stay clean for more than a couple of hours at the most.

YEP....I do, too. It's just the cheap glasses though. Our other glasses have a protective coating on them that resists dirt. Next time you go to Wal-Mart, look in the pharmacy section for glasses cleaning products. There are some there that will relieve your problem. Now....if I could just friggin REMEMBER when I go to pick some up. ARGHHHHHH.....LOL

Oh honey, I have trouble just keeping my glasses. Two to three pair at a time go missing. If I could only find a pair right now I'd kiss smudges all over them and wear 'em for an hour w/o a swipe.

Yeah , i sure do ! it s annoying. & i have the glare reflection lenses, it's worse.

they told me to use only their spray,no alcohol,it's get the finish off. & i could use dawn or liquid dial, that all other soaps have conditioner in them also matrix shampoo, has no conditioner, but it's more expensive.

my husband says "you sure do wash your glasses a lot" but they smudge up, & get oily spot s on them & it just erks me. i clean em in soapy water like you said, 2 or 3 x's a day & dry them w/a soft cloth, not swirling motion just back & forth w/the cloth.

i cant wear contacts.

I have the same problem - especially if I am excercising - found this article at http://www.fashionspecsdirect.co.uk/article4.php very helpful.

Knew most of it already - but the bit about nosebuds helped me a lot !

Yep. Every time I turn around I'm cleaning them. A royal pain. But, ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Or, you can't see!
