What I did for mine was look at a ton of bridal mags, or you could check out a salon. They'll have a lot of books and such. The link I just posted also has some cute stuff.

Look thourgh a bunch of mags to see if you like anything and then go to the hair dresser and tell her you want to try some of them out. Maybe one each friday or saturday and then what ever one looks best on you is what you should go with. Ask your photographer to look at the do and your make up artist to, so you can get some input from the pros.
Good Luck and God Bless you and your Weddings.

Look to the movies...I did a very basic updo with tiara (a la Breakfast at Tiffany's and it looked beautiful in the pictures.

I agree with going more as yourself. I am doing a down-do. What I have done is look around for a head piece that I liked and see how the model was wearing her hair with it. The hair style I chose is a lot longer than my own hair so I am buying clip in extensions. If you go that route, at least you will know how the headpiece looks with the hair style before you buy it!! Good luck!

I highly suggest that you wear your hair more like you wear it every day. I promise, years later when you look at the pics, you will wish you had looked more "natural."
