A text file which came with it says that to open the file you need to uncompress it using sol compression software. It says that it is a newer compression technology and achieves 35% more compression than winrar.
Has anybody ever heard of it .If so where to download it. I tried seaching for sol compression software but no use

It is not a macromedia flash onject, it does not open with adobe flash player

Try this- this .sol file format may have something to do with this program.

According to the web site below, Adobe Flash Player opens .sol files.

Go to Nero's main menu StartSmart and choose to make a DVD. Nero will open an application called Vision, which will convert your AVI video into DVD format.
