Yes they can, my dog (one of them) gets them all them time. But it seems easier for them to get rid of them, maybe because they don't think about it as much as we do.

Not to worry. It is common for puppies & dogs to get the hiccups, usually after eating or drinking. Normally, by the time the dog is about 2 years old, they grow out of it.

Sure they can. Every dog I've ever owned had the hiccups at some point.

Yes puppies and dogs hiccup. And no it does not mean they have worms.

Any animal with a diaphragm and a vagus nerve can go into spasm and therefore hiccough.
If you have a puppy with hiccoughs, give it water as swallowing dry is a common cause, and give it a gentle neck massage (on either side of the throat) because putting that signal on the vagus nerve may still the signal causing the hiccough.
Gently, now, don't choke your dog and don't restrict the blood supply to the head!

yeah especially puppies. when my dog was a puppy he had hiccups all the time. cats and kittens can get them too. my dog also burps and farts. so dont be suprised when ur dog does that too

yup when mine was a puppy he hiccuped all the time it was so cute, he still does it now sometimes

Definitely! Every time my puppy gets them she seems surprised. She looks around to see where they are coming from!
