Whole milk (Vitamin D) is quite fattening. The only people who should be drinking that are very young children, and the seriously underweight. Whole grain bread may have fat in it, but is a very wise choice if you're looking to cut back. It will fill you up so you can get by with much less. Dairy products may or may not be overly fattening, depending on what kind of milk it's made from. Anything made from skim milk is going to be low fat.

All of them are extremely good for you. If you are worried about gaining weight, just measure your food. 3 or 4 oz. of meat for dinner is good. Eggs, 2 or 3 times a week. Rice and pasta, 1/2 to 3/4 of a cup at a meal. Lentils, about the same. Bread, 1 slice per meal. People tend to think that not eating helps you lose weight, but when you stop eating the body doesn't know when it's next meal is coming and will store fat away until it's needed. It's then you will gain weight, or not lose it at the very least. Eating a balanced diet is the best way to lose weight or maintain your diet, the safe way.
ps. Where are the 5 to 7 fruits and vegetables you are supposed to eat daily?

eggs are an awesome source of protien, if you want less fat you can stick with the white and get rid of the yolks, tuna is great and has the good fats that you need, and omega 3's which I can't even begin to list the health benefits of those. High fibre cereal is awesome, lentils have the most protien per pound of any bean out there, good choice. Skim milk is always best. Turkey is a great instead of chicken, it is much leaner. The chicken legs are ok, but they are dark meat which means more fat and also more fat if you leave the skin on. Rice is good as long as its brown rice, white rice has very little nutritional value, its pretty much just a simple sugar. And pasta is fine as long as its whole wheat pasta, same as with rice, regular pasta is just a simple sugar. But remember there is nothing wrong with fattening foods as long as you are eating an appropriate amount of calories a day for your body. Not getting enough can be as harmful as getting too many.

Well, depends what u eat with them. On their own, no they're pretty low in fat. For example if u put butter or margarine on the bread, that immediately ups the calories. If u fry the eggs, that's obviously going to make them fatty. Have them boiled or poached instead. The tuna is ok unless u put it into a white sauce or something. High fibre cereal is really good so long as u have low or no-fat milk, no-fat yoghurt or even fruit juice on it. Lentils aren't fattening in themselves but it also depends what u cook them with. Skim milk, of course, speaks for itself. Turkey is good as long as its cooked in a rotisserie so that all the fat drains away. I would treat chicken the same way. Rice is really good if u don't add butter to it the way my husband used to do =]. And pasta is great on its own, but who wants to eat it on its own? Lol. Just be sure it's wholegrain pasta and use sauces that have little or no fat.
Simple as that.
It sounds like u have a pretty good diet, keep it up. ♥

They all have some fats, but these are healthy fats and in moderation they are okay to eat. You really have a healthy diet. I would just watch the sauces you might put on the pasta which can make it fattening.
Overall, I'd say no, these foods are not fattening.

You're not supposed to eat tuna more than 3 times a week- mercury levels are high.

Are you fat. Yes then yes, no then no.
The foods sound ok.
The way that you will cook them will determine the fat content.
i.e. Fried eggs & buttered toast,
Tuna bake with cheese,
Deep fried chicken,
Creamy pasta.
So it will depend on how you cook them & what you will add to them.
The foods are fine.
:-D
