The way not to do it is starve yourself, to start with. Just exercise and eat right. I did....lost 90 LBS because of it. Starving yourself won't help at all. Drink more water, eat less before bed, and don't eat for stress are the 3 things I follow and i'm going pretty well if i don't say myself. 90 LBS isn't anything like 5-10lbs so take my advice. If you want anymore details, feel free to email me. ~Adia

Sugar is an empty calorie, of no nutrirional value.Sugar in beer gives men that big tummy.Set your mind up to believe that you can lose weight by no longer drinking diet pop, and you will lose weight.
Indulge in a little exercise and a better diet, and you will lose the excess weight in no time. Most soft drink manufacturers have removed sugar from fizzy drinks, and replaced it with caffeine, and aspartame, or Phenylenolin, a sugar substitute similar to sucaryl, or saccharin which was popular in the 70's-80-s.
Those sugar replacements are far worse. They causes Kidney shrinkage. Coke robs the calcium from bones in men, and makes them weak.Women are ok.And the better water to drink is distilled, as bottled water sold in shops, is really tap water, and mineral is usually just carbonated to kill or disguise any bitter taste.
And that's also why they put lemon in them.

No, you won't really lose that much more weight. This is because the soda you're drinking is "DIET", which already has 0 calories. If you were to stop drinking REGULAR soda, then yes you would lose weight. If you stop drinking diet soda, then it'll help a little. Water is always much better to drink, since it helps hydrate you and is good for the skin. Try drinking ice cold water as it helps burn calories.

You will absolutely lose more weight, and you will also look slimmer because you will not have that bloated look and feel that soda gives you. Also there is an ingredient in diet soda that is said to actually increase food cravings. Good luck breaking your habit, I am also addicted, I drink 3 or 4 a day.

Yep. Diet pop is bad for you. It gives you the illusion you're taking in less calories, but it actually causes you to want to eat more.
Plus, the aspertain (sp?) is really bad for you. It causes mental and emotional problems. Personally, I'm allergic to the stuff. If I have more than one can of diet pop, I get horrible headaches.
Also, if you want to learn more about the downside of diet pop, go to www.cbn.com and look in the health section.

Most diet pop also has caffiene in it which causes the body to retain water. Drink more stuff like Gatorade or natural juices or water.

I don't know if you'll lose more weight, but you will definitely be healthier in the long run, if you quit Diet Pop.

Yes, it will. diet pop is not much difference from regular sugary soda. yes, you are much better with plain water, or with a slice of lemon in it.
