Surely you can pick up English speaking TV programmes?

Your best bet would probably be watch DVDs in English language with Spanish subtitles, so that you can check what you are hearing against what you know.

listen to all of the music in English that you can. Watch TV programs in English if they are available. Look for Americans and English-speaking tourists who you can help out in order to just speak English with them. Look for dvds in English and get as many as you can to watch and listen to. If you have a computer, look for English-speaking chat rooms. Skype has a messenger which allows people to have group calls of up to 100 people at a time. I have an English chat room there. Just look for an use every opportunity possible to listen to and use the language. No hay otra manera, amigo. Así es como aprendí a hablar el español. There's no other way, my friend. That's how I learned to speak Spanish.
