Yeah ,From center-span use a compass heading of approx 240 degrees and a distance of about 4 miles.
Don't have a compass ?
Use an analog watch
Orient by placing 12:00 at North
Multiply all the numbers by 30 to get a bearing.
Walkway on the Bridge is about 160' above the water
Statue of Liberty is 365 ' above the water .

Ah, many people take pictures and it make sit look like the Brooklyn Bridge is right next to the Statue Of Liberty! It's not.
When you're on the bridge, you can see the Statue of Liberty standing far away.. I mean you could barely see it! You would expect the Statue of Liberty to be HUGE, but when you go see it in person... you're like "This is the Statue of Liberty?" It's smaller than it seems, but I'm not saying it's small.

Yeah, you can see it. It's kind of off in the distance, so you just see a small statue out there. If you didn't know it was *the* statue of liberty, you might not recognize it.

Yes. As long as it's a clear day, and you do not jump
off the bridge, you should be able to spot Lady Liberty.
