While you can find 48" x 72" shower panels, it is difficult to find a 48"square shower, or shower base. Those that are 48" wide are only 34" deep. If you must have the exact size you will likely have to hire a tile layer to do a custom job for you. Below is a link showing the most common sizes. Most square showers are either 36" or 38."

I'm not sure about websites, but we just bought a 4' square shower stall at Home Depot.
