I wanted to get a personal loan, I've been reading a lot about them lately and how hard they are too get. (not so good credit) I read that auto loans are easier to get, so I'm wondering can I go for a auto loan but use the money for whatever I want as long as I am paying the monthly payments?

You could go to a title pawn. The interest rates are outrageous. The max loan amount would be their value of your vehicle.

You have got to be kidding! When you make a Auto Loan, the Auto is the collateral. The loan application requires the details about the car to determine the value of the loan. If you can not save for what you want you really don't want it bad enough. Which means you will never get it. Take a finance class and learn how finance works.

The lender who grants the auto loan , makes the check payable to the auto sales place .
The lender also takes the title until you pay off the loan and requires you keep insurance until the loan is paid .

No , you do not get cash for an auto loan .
