Not available to the general public. The enemy would love to get that kind of information.
It is available to the veterans themselves, and to their next of kin. If you qualify as one of those, contact the personnel records branch of the service you wish to research. The link should be on the web page for that service. They'll direct you to the proper source. Some older records are archived. Service, discharge, and medical records are available.

I will echo Sgt Little Keefe. A troop (150-200 US Army Calvary) being wiped out would have been a big topic in the recent Presidential Debates and front page on every paper in the country. A squad of 12, if on a Blackhawk or S Hook, could be taken out by a crash. Have not heard of any survivors in any recent helicopter crashes.

sounds like you need to know the details of ONE person, but to actually answer your question, this is not an open list to the public.
sorry
regards
EDIT military men on the ground help me out here but wouldn't there be more than 12 men in a troop, I thought a troop was some 100+ men.............

Hey Jessica, that answer that wayne c gave you is soooooo wrong cause they don't tell everything that goes on in Iraq. I know this cause my brother inlaws FOB was burnt to a crisp and alot of men died and that didn't come out in the news. But you can only get a list of them if you know someone in the military and hendles the records.

Hon, if he was in a firefight that severe that over 100 men and women perished than we surely would have heard about it, now wouldn't we? There is no list of men and women who have enlisted in the U.S. Army that is public record. Sorry, but he has given you a line of "Bull"!

The Privacy Act of 1974 prevents that kind of information from being made public.

The list is not public. It would contain millions of names from the 1760's on.
