I've been looking around at different sites, papers, and science magazines, and what they all have in common is that they all say the same things. In and about 2010-2012 we,that means us as a planet, will be heading into a very turbulent and energetic section of our universe. The ambient radiation of cosmic levels will be higher, more foreign objects such as meteors,or comets, and maybe rogue planets. It seems that science doesn't really know, but it's scary just the same.As far as locally, the Sun is going to go through the largest solar maximum ever recorded. In past maximums borialis phenomenon was at very high levels, and satellites were even knocked offline globally,as well as ground utilities in the west. This next one is supposed to be 50 times more powerful. Also the planet is going through a magnetic wobble, which may switch north and south poles. With all this information and no one really saying anything about it nationally, what are things we can expect to see going on in everyday life?

Wow, what a deep question....my hubby talks about this sort of stuff too. Many people will say it's a bunch of hogwash, but those who pay attention will know there are great changes ahead. We have seen articles refering to 2012 also. I think that although nobody knows for sure what to expect of the future, we should all be prepared to take care of ourselves in case of any major events of any sort, be they globally related, natural disasters or otherwise. What harm can it do to know of safe places to go, ones with a safe water supply, shelter etc. and what harm can it do to have a month long supply of food etc that can be prepared in primative conditions. check out providentliving.com for lists. Some will scoff, others who are mentally ready & physically prepared, will survive.

I used to read those stuff too, from papers, website or sth. But, I think what we should be worrying now is about the global warming issue. Let alone those stuff you read from papers, etc. Cos, i personally think that if those stuff you said are inevitable, so why worry too much? How are we gonna solve that problem anyway? It's beyond our control, at the moment. Whereas the issue of global warming, we, as the inhibitants of this earth, have so much time and so many opportunities to take some real actions. To solve the issue of global warming, i think all of us (around the globe) have every responsibility to start taking some real actions, like using more environmental friendly materials, or start planting new trees, or donating our money to those non-profit organisations that are concerned with environmental issues, etc. It really is not about the mistakes others have done or sth in terms of degrading our earth's conditions. Blaming won't have any good result. Debating about these environmental issues will be useless if we don't take actions. Personally, i think some skeptics are really in denial, indeed. Global warming has been so obvious, but they still deny it anyway. Gee, i can't really imagine what's gonna happen to this earth in ten or fifteen years if we don't start taking actions now. There're certainly gonna be disasters, everywhere.

No one knows anything really, nature is nature, expect anything, we'll see in the future till now we would just have to wait and do something about global warming and try to prevent more climate change.

President Clinton will bring us peace, prosperity and restored respect in the world. The state of the universe will not matter.

None of that is true. It is all a bunch of psuedoscientific nonsense and exaggerated, distorted, intentionally hyped reports of things not understood by the people reporting them.
