I stepped on her paw. she limped for a minute but is fine all except her attitude, I didn't step on her hard, but I stepped on her for maybe 10 seconds because I was in my closet but I didnt hear her crying.

You probably didn't break her. She's just a bit shaken up and has her feelings hurt. Give her a few minutes then check to make sure she's not hurt.

Yeah, give her some time. You know cats - such strong personalities. They hold grudges - don't be surprised.
Also - WHERE did you step on her? Back? Stomach? Leg? Tail? And how hard do you think you stepped on her? Watch her close to see if she favors a leg or anything - if she runs around fine then don't worry. If you see any other weird behavior - besides those dirty kitty looks they give - then call the vet.

How hard did you step on her? If she's injured, you need to get her to an emergency vet. If she's not hurt and just annoyed with you, leave her alone for a bit - she'll come around after a while.

Give her time to trust you again, if it just happened she is going to be a little mad at you and cats can be snotty then for a day or two. Give her some peace and quiet and in a few hours offer her a kitty treat and some petting...she will forgive you don't worry about it.

Give her some time. I've stepped on my 6 cats plenty of times (especially since they are constantly at my feet). If you wait it out a few days and she still isn't responding, just catch her and lay her on your lap. Pet her and coo her. She will definitely get over it.

Well, you could have injured her.. How hard did you step on her? (A valid question, I've accidentally stepped on my cats tail before - but not with my full weight - and while he wasn't exactly pleased with me, he wasn't injured and didn't need to go to the vet)
Do you feel that she should go to the vet?

Give her time, she will come back. Try showing her your sorry by giving her a new cat treat every few minutes. Add a lot of petting!
