His own. Just because there is an age difference does not mean that they are not compatible. Especially at those ages. 35-55 is a lot more compatible than when they were 20-40, ya know. Be happy no matter what age. Hey I am i my twenties and 40 something Brad Pitt is stll looking pretty awesome to me!

A woman of 35 years knows exactly what SHE wants to do with her life (or should) --- and I'm sure that she is not being coerced into this union by harsh means --- and the union of the two of them is at LEAST 50% HER CHOICE !!
And, as far as this age difference -- it may seem somewhat extreme for SOME people -- but THEY'RE not the ones entering into this deal --- are they ??
The Best of Luck to the Two of Them !!!!!!
And, for you, ease off the judgemental thing here -- jezzzzzz !!

I know the age difference is in question here but you can hardly call a woman of 35 a little girl. I'm sure she's old enough to know what she's doing. And if she's not than she will soon find out. Who's business is it but theres?

Ask the question again when he starts looking at 17 year olds to overcome the humiliation of being turned down for the junior prom.
Maybe he wants a nice fertile woman well below the age of riskiness in child bearing to give him a bunch of kids or just a nice dancer or athletic hiker.

They're both adults, what's the problem?

Why not also ask why the 35 year old wants to marry a 55 year old?

Are they hurting anybody? If not, then do not worry about it.

What kind of question is this? Well, I would assume his brain to be fully functioning, or it would most likely not be legal for him to marry. And what does her being a tom-boy type have to do with anything? My fiance and I have a larger age difference than these two. I would wish them the best. Unless they are hypothetical...then you need a better hobby.

A 35 year old is a woman not a little girl. What are you 80 thinking she is a little girl? They are both adults and can do as they please. If they make each other happy then so be it. Mind your own business.

I'm 52 and don't consider that old...now 99 is old and 35 is almost middle aged (if you go by your sense of time) so if they both want to get married it's their business...
