Dear God, that seeing we are at this day surrounded by so many miseries, yea, wherever we turn our eyes, innumerable evils meet us everywhere, — O grant, that we being truly humbled before thee, may be enabled at the same time to raise up our eyes to the promises of thy free goodness and paternal favor, which thou hast made to us in thine own Son, that we may not doubt, but that Thou wilt be merciful to us, inasmuch as thou has adopted us as thy people: and while our enemies, fully armed, rage and ferociously rise even daily against us, may we not doubt, but that thou will be our protection, as thou will know that we are unjustly troubled by them; and may we thus go on, trusting in thy goodness, and in thine infinite mercy always to receive and restore us to favor, through thy Son our Lord. Amen.

Holy cow, kid. What a time for you. I'm so sorry about your Grandma. What a sorrow it is. Don't feel bad about not knowing her..you knew her. That's why you loved her so much. They OC will get better as you get older. Maybe even go away. Your sister will be OK because she has such a loving brother like you. You have a place with God. He is with you now and knows what you are going through. Don't feel as though you are "not religious enough" to be graced by Him. Take the comfort in His love. I'll pray for you and think of you.

Hi! I'm sorry to hear about your Grandma. Thank you for telling us these things that are happening. I will pray for you. Also, do you have a church or church youth group you can go to or Christian friends you can talk to or pray with about these things as well? That can really help.

You mentioned "trying to become more religious." If by religious you mean you want to have a relationship with God, then you are on the right track. Yes, God truly is the only One who can help us through our hard times. God loves you and desires us to call out to Him in our time of need and ask for His help, in faith that He will respond and help us.

Here are some websites I highly recommend for you:

This is a video clip about God's love:

(The text version of the above is here:

Here is a link to a tract explaining about how to begin a relationship with God. When you get to the website, scroll down to get to the free download called "These Are the Facts." There's other stuff on this site that you might find helpful as well.

Remember that Jesus will never leave or forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5)

"Call upon Me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify Me." Psalm 50: 15

"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Psalm 46:10

God is the "God of all comfort" who comforts us so we in turn may be able to comfort others. II Cor. 1:4

I am sorry to hear of the problems that you are facing. When you ask God into your heart and believe in your heart that he died and rose again he will be there to help you. Do you have a pastor you can go to to talk or some one with whom you are close with I am saying this sometimes just a big hug seems to help. Keep looking up God will help you. I have just said a prayer for you. Read psalms it has things in there to encourage you. Peace and God bless

I promise to pray for you and everything will be alright if you will just trust God for yourself as well. Whatever we go through here on this earth, it is never so great of a problem that God cannot help or heal. I can assure that if you will pray also for yourself and seek for God to deliver you sincerely, He will do that and give you a testimony that you will be able to share with other people that you encounter. God bless, keep the faith and don't give up.

You most definitely have my prayers. I am so sorry for everything you are going through, but know that God IS there for you right now and you don't have to carry these burdens alone. Give them to Him, for He cares for you!

Matthew 11:28-30 says:
28"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

Start attending church with family or friends, if not already, and get connected with a youth group. You need the fellowship and encouragement from other Christians to keep you lifted during times like these. I hope you find the peace that comes only from Him! God bless...

Losing someone is always tough,,One day I was getting ready to go to work and I was going to stop and see my grandma,but i was running late and as soon as i got to work I got a phone call saying she had passed,she was my favorite and I beat myself up about not seeing her that day for i did not even get a chance to say goodbye,but thats were God came in and healed my heart it takes time,as far as your sister being mentally challenged I stood on Gods word for 3 years for my daughter who was mentally challenged and God supernaturally healed her she is a normal child now never say never all things are possible with God, seek your help from God about your disorder hes the only one that has your answers,and for the direction ask God what church he wants you to go to so you can grow,but for now get up in the morning early and read your word and pray ,he says seek me early and you shall find me,and yes sweeite I will keep you in my prayers and feel free to e-mail me if you want to talk Llisadrew@yahoo.com Hang in there God does not give us more than we can bear,everything thing we go thru is to mold us into what he wants us to be even if it hurts.

Well, you should be encouraged by what I have seen so far. There are many of us who will pray for you and your family situation.

God may be testing your faith, as he allowed Job to be tested. Just stay true to Him and He will direct your path. As for losing your grandmother, you didn't lose her, we all know where she is right now, and that is a much better place.

Reunion day is coming. We will all be together one day and we will rejoice with the Lord.

Yes, I will pray for you.

"But those who wait on the LORD
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint."

Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
