How do i make paper stronger by changing it's shape?

Use more cloth fiber in the mix that it is made from is the easiest way to gain strength. Folding it into V-shaped corrugations is the shape-changing way to improve strength.

Paper is quite strong in tension.
Any shape that takes advantage of this
will make it stronger in a certain direction.
A tube will make a column. Eg.
