When you look into the mirror lately, do you see yourself turning into your mom/dad? How do you feel about that? How do you feel about getting older?

I turned into my mom 20 years ago! Now I search my magnifying mirror to see if I have any new wrinkles. I didn't mind getting older but unpleasant ageing-things are piling up in my life and I can say it sucks and gets suckier regularly.

My mother was a great infulence in my life...she taught me the values and how short life really is........yes ..I do alot and say alot of the same things my mother said and done...and it comes to mind when I do and I say thank you Lord for my mother....who passed away 3 yrs ago...I know I am getting older but I thank God that I am able to turn another year older........God bless and may you be happy about being like mom/dad.

I met my Dad when I was 18yrs old and he had to do a double take because I looked so much like my mum did the last time he saw her!
I love growing older...

I do see myself turning into my mom and I think that's wonderful. My mother is a strong woman who carries herself with integrity,grace, and christian love. I'd be proud just to be half the woman she is. Getting older does not bother me in the least when I will look like such a beautiful woman.

true story:
I was walking down the street and across from me was this huge bay window to a flower store, as I was walking towards it I turned around and said "Hi" to what I thought was my mom, it was my own reflection in the window I was seeing.
