will my hair get lighter if i dye it blonde?

I have dark brown hair

You can dye to a darker shade only. You can bleach to make them blonde.

Drug store brands will make them either brassy or orange. Have it done professionally. You need a strong bleach, but you don't want your hair to burn.

Yes, it will be a nice orange color....

Get it done professionaly, it has to be bleached out and then dyed blonde.

use loreal preference or excellence so you can get a lighter color...don't try the cheap ones.Salon do some messups on your hair..
