It only takes on book to state the truth, you can't have more than one book on the truth because the truth can only be told one way. Science has to have many books to explain because the ideas keep changing...

Well, the Christian religion likes to make everything very simple and black and white by saying "god did it", which is not how the real world works. Understanding the universe and the cosmos is extremely complicated and even those millions of books cannot explain it all, because we don't know everything. The bible lists some simple rules to get into heaven and teaches creationism - not very deep if you ask me. Science is more dynamic because it takes more to explain it, instead of just passing it off as "god did it".

Because science by it's very nature has to explain. Religion does not. Christianity can explain the cosmos, life and everything in 3 words......God created it. Nothing else is needed.

Are you kidding? Because reality is not simple.

Science has a method to explain the cosmos, called the scientific method. Observation, Hypothesis, Testing.

Science, like very area of study, can be taught through books.

The scientific method is so effective that new information is constantly acquired and faulty information is discovered, so science self-corrects over time and new books are written to reflect these changes.

I think it should be considered a weakness that religions have one book to go on to explain reality. It's circular logic to look at a book as validation for what it says.

P.S. Does the bible explain neutron stars? Give me a break.

Why does science have millions of books, because they can not all agree on there theories!!!!! The bible is the oldest known book and has been translated in to many different languages. The second LAW of thermodynamics states everything decays or rots so how could anything evolve? the true answer is not evolution but creation. If man evolved from apes where is the evidence of 99% man 1 % ape etc?

We have 66 books actually.

If you'd prefer to look at the Bible as one book that is your choice, but the Bible is really a libary of 66 books.

If you'd like to think of the Bible as one book then you need to wonder why all those other million books were written when the truth was already written down for us by the God Who made us and this universe we live in.

Lots of wasted ink if you ask me.

Because science knows none of those books have an acceptable answer as of yet. Or else they would not need to improve and try other theories.

BTW....Genesis is used by Jews too..its not just a Christian book.

because the Bible is entirely faith-based but ppl just wont sack up and admit it.....

science is dynamic

1. Many more individuals are born than can possibly survive, thus there is competition for limited resources

2. Within this vast number there is variation, and because of this variation some of these individuals will have an advantage--however slight--over others

3. The ones who have the advantages are more competitive and thus they are more likely to obtain the limited resources

4. The ones who are succeeding in securing the limited resources are more likely to reproduce and thus pass onto their offspring the more competitive traits

Only the first couple of chapters of the first book (Genesis) is needed to say "created by God."

Science has more books because they can't explain it so they try to dazzle us with BS.
