I have just made two movies and I want to post them on youtube but I dont know how to compress files. I am using a mac and Imovie. I need step by step insturctions and i have been googleing all night and im tired. Night, Night.

Open the movie in iMovie. Click Share -> Quicktime. This should compress it a bit. If it does not, open the Quicktime file in iTunes. Click Advanced -> Convert selection to iPod. This gives it the extention .mp4, which should be compressed enough.
