I will be visiting Thailand in 2 months. You probably know about the crash in Phuket. I am curious to figure how the airliners are "generally" dealing with suspended flights.

If I am schedule for Phuket for only 2 days then flight somewhere else from that but I cann't get a flight to get there. How the airliners usually deal with such situation?
Lost of my money or the airliner pays for alternative transportation ....!?

The crash wouldn't affect your trip considering you've still got two months.

The cause of the plane crash from my knowledge was caused primarily by bad weather. It hit the runway while trying to land, so it's unfortunately a disaster caused by nature. At least, all it would do is slow down traffic to the airport it happened at least until they've examined everything, cleaned up the wreckage and completed any needed repairs to the runway.

You shouldn't have anything to worry about but if you're still in doubt, contact your airline or travel agent.

I used to bypass to Thailand and e book with return and forth company, which used to cost around $1200-$1400 return. Then i got here across Airasia. With AirAsia, you are able to e book and pay on line and it will value approximately 0.5 the cost. counting on the place you reside, maximum flights bypass to Kuala Lumpur and then Phuket. So its only a splash a concern attempting to manage your own connecting flights, and you besides could could desire to learn out and verify lower back on your bags on the tip over. yet i think this inconvenience is very well worth the $seven hundred decrease fee expenditures whilst in comparison with a return and forth company.
