Tell your Dad...so what if your brother gets pissed, you may save his life. If at 14 he is in with a crowd that has access to pot then by 16 he will be in a crowd that has access to meth. Proven fact that the earlier a kid smokes pot the better the chance by the age of 18 he will on to stronger drugs. Are you willing to take a chance at being silent, and your brother becoming a meth head?

I think your best bet is to discuss this with your father. I really don't think..from previous experience with drugs that anyone should go down this rd. And at his young age it can cause so many problems. Your brother may be angry when you tell your dad.. but he will get over it and he might see in the long run that it was a blessing in disguise. You are a good brother and I think you know what's best for him. This needs to be nipped in the butt before it gets out of hand.. Good Luck :)

Tell your Dad. He will be really mad at you for a while, too. Once he stops smoking pot and gets himself in order again he will come around. Sometimes doing the right thing and being a good sister isn't easy.
Good luck to you!

Honestly, would it be worse for him to get mad or develop this when he grows up? I have friends around that age group who smoke and no one really does anything about it because they don't think they can and don't really care. You should definitely take control of him because he will develop a habit of it. Tell your dad for sure! Just show him how you know that he's doing it and maybe your dad can make something up like if you saw it on facebook or a profile for example, just have your dad say that you left your profile on and he just looked through it or something..

Make your dad say that he found the pot in his room. Tell your dad not to tell him you said that. Or, give your brother a heart to heart talk and tell him it will mess up your brain. Do some research and tell him what can happen to him and tell him you're doing this because you care about him.

Yes, you have to talk to your dad. Maybe your brother will get angry about that. So what? It is more important that you do it than that you worry about your brother's reaction. You can simply say that you did it because you love him and you're concerned for him. Which is true.

Tell your dad. I mean, yeah your brother will get mad at you . But he cant hate you forever, i mean your doing something good for him. Your basically saving his life, cause if he's smoking pot at a young age.. it can really ruin his healthy/body/life.

Smoking pot is fairly normal for a 14 year old, but I really do think that teens should wait until college to smoke pot or experiment with drugs. At his age his mind is still developing. When he's an adult, it might even be healthy if he knows to be responsible with drugs.
Sure, tell your dad since you said your dad won't get too angry.

You have to tell your Dad he is responsible for your brother. if your brother gets busted your father will have to bail him out of jail. Better to let him know now or he will in shock at the police station.
Marijuana just gives that feeling nothing matters I hate that stuff!!
Your brother needs counseling(he might get mad at first) but once he realizes how bad drugs are through sessions he will thank you for stopping him before he got into worse things.

I think it is none of your business, so long as he can afford doing it, and won't rob or steal to supply his habit... You won't change his opinions, especially by force, except to make him hate you even more.
Look around you at some worse things going on. Life itself is degraded by bastards out on the road trashing other peoples' rights to health and safety, or drunks at home beating their wife and kids, but, do you think the cops really care?... Nooo,
But you better believe they care about someone smoking pot, because that is a much, much easier bag for them.
I think their ,(and your), priorities are twisted, and no, I wouldn't tell my dad.
