Definately congrats to Clint!!!!! I was in tears for the last 5 laps of the race!!! I am soooooooooooooo happy for Clint!! What a great way to start off the chase for the championship!!! Go get 'em Clint!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent race, and an awesome win for the whole RCR, JD 07 bunch. It was a GREAT run for those cats, and Bowyer has some momentum now going into CHASE RACE #2. Dover is a tricky track, and it will be interesting to see if Clint can keep his good fortune going after next Sunday @ Dover.

RCR set that car up like it was on rails. After Tony took the lead, you could see him get closer each lap.Con grates to Clint, he had the beat car by far.

It was cool to see Clint get his first Nextel Cup win......and to do it in the first race of The Chase proved to everyone why he's even in the Chase.

i knew he had it in him... i posted the question "what are your thoughts on bowyer" from alltackedupsaddles... where i did say i didnt think he would win from the pole cuz really what are the odd's ... BUT WOW HUH??? and the latest one i believe you answered.."Bowyer,Bowyer,Bowyer.." so i am thrilled he won he is a good consistent driver and i knew with rcr helping him he would maintain a steady pace and not be such a "dark horse" like they were calling him....

too bad childress wasnt there to share in the victory!!!
oh and i loved it when kevin told him to take it easy cuz he had it....there was nobody even close to him except harvick cuz he lapped him but its all good!!!!

It's always to see a genuinely good guy win. It won't be his last. I remember them hyping him up big time as a rookie last year. He's been overshadowed by some other young drivers, but now has his moment in the sun.
Suffice it to say Richard Childress has an eye for young talent. Nice to see someone shake it up a bit.
