We havent really discussed it much... but the wedding we went to last week was Welcome to the Jungle - Guns and Roses. That was awesome!!
i was in the car the other day and heard a song, and had a vision of how it could used as an intro song, and it fit well. my fiance isnt thrilled about the song, but we're working on it. The song, btw, was the Shaft Theme by Issac Hayes.

My cousins introduced the wedding party with "get the party started" by pink, and they came in with "Another One Bites the Dust" I thought it was cute, totally perfect for them too, plus it kicked things off on a really upbeat note.

We chose "Ode to Joy" for our wedding enterence music.
We also selected "The Wedding Song" and "Cherish the Treasure" for solos...I sang the Wedding Song to Cece, and Cecellia sang Cherish back to me. It was touching!
I think we skipped the old timeless "Here Comes The Bride" because it has been done to death!

i finally found someone by barbra streisand & bryan adams or this one from a local group here in the Phils
WHEN I MET YOU
There I was, an empty piece of a shell,
Just minding my own world
Without even knowing what love and life were all about
Then you came, you brought me out of the shell;
You gave the world to me
And before I knew, there I was so in love with you
You gave me a reason for my being
And I love what I'm feeling
You gave me a meaning to my life
Yes, I've gone beyond existing
And it all began when I met you
I love the touch of your hand
And when I look in your eyes I just know
I know I'm on to something good
And I'm sure, my love for you will endure
Your love will light up my world
And take all my cares away with the aching part of me
You gave me a reason for my being
And I love what I'm feeling
You gave me a meaning to my life
Yes, I've gone beyond existing
And it all began when I met you
You taught me how to love
You showed me how tomorrow and today
My life is different from the yesterday I knew
You taught me how to love
And darling I will always cherish you
Today, tomorrow and forever
And I'm sure when evening comes around
I know we'll be making love like never before
My love, who could ask for more
You gave me a reason for my being
And I love what I'm feeling
You gave me a meaning to my life
Yes, I've gone beyond existing
And it all began when I met you
When I met you

Fly Me To The Moon - Frank Sinatra
Fly me to the moon
And let me play among the stars
Let me see what spring is like
On Jupiter and Mars
In other words hold my hand
In other words darling kiss me
Fill my heart with song
And let me sing forevermore
You are all I long for
All I worship and adore
In other words please be true
In other words I love you
(Repeat last verse)

I want to come out to something cheerful and upbeat, I don't think I want to come out to something that's too much of a heavy ballad that's gonna have everybody up in there boo hooing and crying and blubbering b/c I want to set the tone for my reception to be a PARTAY! lol...so I think I'm seriously considering Luther Vandross "Power of Love" lol...I can just picture us smiling and waving to everyone with that one...

"No Seatbelt Song" by Brand New. It's possibly the most romantic song I have ever heard and my boyfriend and I have the lyrics tattooed on our arms. =)
