I would like to listen to my TV using headphones. But I don't want the cord. Is there any way to put a bluetooth transmitter in the headphone jack of my TV then listen to it using Bluetooth headphones?

Thanks in Advance

You have no way to load any drivers on your TV. So whatever you connect need to work out of the box, with no s/w involved.

There are wireless headphones out there, but not necessarily blue-tooth. Most of the AV headphones work in RF frequencies (longer radius as well)

Yes. They make bluetooth stereo transmitters that have a stereo headphone jack. You can plug that in and it will transmitt to a bluetooth headset. You could still use a 900 mhz wireless headset also.
