Yes, I've had Creative Suite 2 (with Photoshop) for about a year, and I've been using some version or another since the early 90s.
This is by far the very best software I use for any purpose: it does exactly what it's supposed to do with ease and style and grace, and it never, ever crashes.
You should know that the version you mention is a pretty expensive professional product, intended for users who need a LOT of capability. If you're a graphics professional or a pretty serious home user, then this is for you. If not, there may be smaller, easier, cheaper versions available, and, if so, you might want to check them out.
You can download a trial copy of the current version (CS3) and just about every other Adobe product at their Web site below.

GIMP is a FREE alternative to Adobe. Unless you are into graphic designs for a living and need super powered options (99.5% of normal photo software users DO NOT need all those options) Gimp does everything a normal home user would need photo software for. It is not worth it to buy and or risk downloading a pirated copy of Adobe for.

There are several different Tutorials offered by Adobe, as well as Ask Google. Remembering that this Software is Proffesional Design Software.

Yes, I'm very happy with it! My mom bought it at wal-mart(i think?) but I use it on most of my pictures!!! I'm not sure if there is a website for it though? But me would suggest it to u if ur looking for a photo-editor

i have it but i dont use it. i only downloaded it cuz sumbody requested it from me. i have the full version.
