I sometimes see Antis say to Pros (US citizens) that they are unAmerican or racist to white people or that they value illegals more than US citizens.

And it upsets me. For real. Especially when they are saying it to people who I like and respect very very much and I know hate racism and I know do a lot of good FOR AMERICA. They know who they are.

And you know who you are. Do you Really think that Pros are traitors?

p.s. I'm asking about your fellow Americans.

That is ridiculous.

We are not traitors any more than the people that protest an unfair war are. The Vietnam vets upon return were called traitors and spat upon by people who did not support the war. These men were doing their job only. So, perhaps it is the same people, or the same type of people that are calling us traitors.

We have a right to our opinion. I aspire to a better day for a country that I was born in and love. I may not agree with someone about how to obtain it, but, my desire is for the betterment of our country.

When someone resorts to calling names, it means they have officially LOST the battle.

Call me what you may. I believe the spirit on which this great country was built was one of hope, acceptance, and, love. I refuse to see anyone as an "enemy" until they are one. And, the majority of undocumented here have come with the same desires as our forefathers, how American would I be to insult and hate them?

It seem like Anti's like to throw insults around, No I am not a traitor, I am a U.S. Army Veteran, I have earned a right to voice my opinion, by my service in her armed forces . How many of you self proclaimed Hero's have been in the Armed forces of the Country, I have family members fighting in Iraq a war for oil I do not believe in, But I back our fighting men and women that are in harms way.

A Traitor I am not , Pro immigration reform Yes I am.,

Israel apologized for what he did (and they did also). Israel has a right to request his release, just like France had a right to request the release Salah Hassan Hamori, an imprisoned Frenchman who was involved in an assassination plot to kill the political leader of Shas. Israel has every right to refuse such a request, and as does the U.S regarding Pollard, however his release should be seriously considered. Even Vanunu was released from prison.

Traitor, heck No!!!! What is unpatriotic, is to stifle the freedom of speech. I was going to say I never Saw this except for an attack against one person here. Now I see that there are people as ridiculous as that.
As for being called racist, here are some sage advice from he majority of Anti's. Those who use these word are tpically racist themselves. Those who call people racist really don't have anything intelligent to say, so they attack the person.
The thing I hate is people overuse the word Racist. They don't care that i is a word of hate and power. Overuse of it weakens the meaning and people stop caring being called racist and therefore are more willing to exhibit inappropriate behavior.

No, I don't think I am a traitor. I also don't consider myself to be either stance, I'm not "pro-illegal" and I'm not "anti-illegal". What I stand for is the individual. Not every illegal alien should be here, not every illegal alien should be deported. It's too individualized a subject to say it should be one way or the other. My basic feeling is this: Those who have not abused the system or taken anything they were not entitled to, have been here paying taxes while they worked, have not committed any crimes nor have any crimes in their background, and voluntarily go to an immigration office in good faith requesting the ability to remain here despite their illegal entry should be given an opportunity to be considered for the right to stay here. Those who cannot even demonstrate the basic criteria I said above should not even be given said opportunity.
I know there are many who will say "They need to get in line behind everyone who is waiting to enter the country legally!" But you know what? Most of the people who are in line to enter this country legally already have a decent amount of money, are not in the financial position many illegals were prior to coming here, and they have time to wait. Not saying all of them do, but the good people who are here illegally are often here that way solely because they didn't have the money and the time to do it legally. I have a child myself, and if she was starving, in need of medical attention, etc, I wouldn't have time to wait, nor would I wait.
I'm not saying the illegals shouldn't have to pay a fee/fine of some sort in order to even be reviewed for the right to stay, even if they do meet the criteria. There does need to be some kind of ramification for illegal entry if they want to stay. Maybe they should be fined for their illegal entry, and the funds used to improve border security for the future? We do a lot of other "penalties" via regular paycheck deduction (ie-failure to pay child support, and wage garnishments in various other forms), we could certainly do that too.
But that's my thinking. Give them the opportunity to come forth voluntarily, let them prove they are a fit person to be here, maybe impose a penalty for their illegal entry, and give the opportunity to go forward living an honest, legal life here.
If that makes me a traitor, then people can think what they will. But I would rather see a real ethical SOLUTION than go around wasting oxygen hollering for mass deportation of millions of individuals, which is NEVER going to happen.

Lori K - I have to say in PART you are right with these statements. And I'm editing your comments to show you what I am talking about. Then adding my comment at the end.

"Anyone who supports those who are destroying our country are traitors to it. Those who are aiding and abetting those who have illegally invaded are country our the worst kind of traitors.

Any that physically aid the illegals in any way SHOULD be in prison."

My comment - It's not so much the Pros here on Y / A or out on the streets who are the traitors that are supporting those that are destroying OUR country. Some may be aiding and abetting those who have illegally invaded are country. And any that physically aid the illegals in any way SHOULD be in prison. Are the Extreme PROS.

Do YOU want to REALLY know WHO these Extreme PRO people are that are doing all this?

They ARE the Employers, and Businesses who knowingly hired them to come here in the first place. From the Public sector right down to the Private sector. Even our Government agencies have knowingly hired them. And we ALL know that MOST if not ALL of those within our local, and county level Government agencies to our State, and Federal Government Representives OWN or HAVE stock in the very companies that do hire the illegals.

Especially the ELITE Businesses and Companies. How in the world do you think most of them got so filthy RICH.

They ARE also both the Democrats, and the Republicans in OUR GOVERNMENT who ARE in favor of passing Amnesty Bills. Whether those laws sit idle for the next 60 days "during their debate on certain bills they want passed" Or whether they actively take on the debate. Because right now they are suppose to be "debating" the STRIVE Act that also includes the Dream Act. But word is, if that bill sit for the next 60 days... IT AUTOMACTICALLY PASSES without debate on it at all.

They ARE also the likes of Bush, Cheney, and the Bush administration WHO are in favor of legalizing these millions of illegals. They ARE also his "Security" Advisors in DHS (Department of Homeland Security). And to finalize the legalization of all these illegals... Bush is at the moment having leaders of OTHER countries Endorse, and Encourage OUR Congress Members to APPROVE the expansions of both the NAFTA, and CAFTA Free Trade Agreements. Bush wants these to be passed by Congress because then it guarantees that every illegal already here in the country, and every illegal coming to the country will NO LONGER be Considered ILLEGAL. EVER!!
And for your last comment on any that physically aid the illegals in any way SHOULD be in prison.

My comments have covered all of those who ARE actually doing just that. So if you can take your blinders off, and really take a look at THOSE who are, and always have been allowing this to happen, then you'll realize that WE all are being played against each other over this whole issue. That if you and others really want this stopped and shut down... WE have to pull together and have OUR Congress Members from every single state in the country. Abolish the NAFTA, and CAFTA agreements. Other-wise Americans will No Longer have a Voice or a Choice.

And right now is the time for that to happen. Getting a hold of your Senators, and Congress Members to STOP this whole MESS. Because right now is also the time that Bush is asking OUR Congress to approve HIS Expansion of NAFTA, and CAFTA. So we need to get ahold of them NOW and BEFORE they GIVE Bush what HE WANTS.

WE can always Deal With the Problems, and the Issues of the Illegals being here AFTER We get those Trade Agreements STOPPED.

I hope you, and others, really take the time and think about what I have put down here. Because it's all TRUTH. Think about it! Nothing has ever been done about the illegals who have kept coming here at anytime. And who continually gave them Amnestys so they could stay? The American people certainly didn't give permission for those to stay. We don't have the POWER to do that. But WE do have the POWER to Stop the Free Trade Agreements First. And then focus on what to do with the illegals Already here.

And they are not waiting for the elections to accomplish this either. Bush
wants this approved before then. And then it doesn't matter who we vote IN or OUT. Because the Free Trade Agreeements will already be a done DEAL. And his dads and his dreams of One World Order will already have taken hold.
If you think for one moment I'm kidding about all this. Google KBR Internment Camps and see who will ALL qualify to be placed in them. And KBR has already hurried up and finished building quite a few of them right here within the United States. So I'm asking that WE keep cool heads here, and GET the Free Trade Agreements Abolished FIRST and right NOW while WE still can. Then focus on the illegals that are here. OK!!

And BTW... I'm an Anti on the issue. But through others, who have shown me and provided me links to ALL this stuff I have spoken of here. OUR biggest concern is Abolishing the Free Trade Agreements First. And OUR Congress Members are the only ONES who can accomplish that for us.

So please everyone who hasn't already email, phone and fax your Congress Members of your states. And Demand that they Abolish the Free Trade Agreements. It's either that... Or We ALL lose our freedoms. And if that's what you want in the end... then just keep bickering on here at each other, instead of contacting your Congress Members, and Reps, and that's exactly what's going to happen. So again Start Contacting your Washington D.C Congress Members, and Senators Immediately and Demand that they Abolish the NAFTA, and CAFTA Free Trade Agreements FIRST.

I think alot on the left are either traitors or completely stupid sheep.

They don't get what this country was built on and they want to ruin it to bring about some Socialist Democracy where If you decide not to work that is ok the rest of the country will pay your way.

I see Pro Illegal Immigration as another way for Democrats to buy votes. If the democratic party makes 12 million Illegals legal who do you think they will vote for? They don't stop there. They want Habitual criminals to serve minimum sentances and be released into the public to commit crimes again. I think that is their affinity for Illegals.

Notice how when they cannot make a good arguement about Making those who are illegal face some punishment and not get special treatment over those that come here legally they start calling the opposition a racist? That is the lie. You are not a racist if you oppose illegal immigration. You are a racist if you oppose all hispanics or blacks or whites based on race. They have a weak arguement.

Hopefully the American people will wake up and throw these traitors and the illegals out.

Most of the people who support illegal immigration are unpatriotic Americans. And they are also racists who want to see Whites become a minority in the United States. It seems pretty obvious to me.

No, and I am against Illegal aliens coming to the USA freely. I also think that at least three people on here make sense on the reasons why they favor illegals getting another break. I do not agree, but I do not think they are traitors.

The easiest way to stifle civilized debate is to resort to name-calling.

Neither side are traitors or unAmerican. Both sides are motivated by a desire to make America better. We just differ in our assessment of how to do it.
