Okay I found a gift card on the street. The card and pin # were still under the little "scratch here" silver foil thing so I doubt it's been used. But on the back it say's that if lost or stolen it cannot be replaced without the original receipt. So if I use it, will I get into any kind of trouble?

You can use it, they can't trace it to who the card was meant for so it's safe to use.

No, you wouldn't get in trouble. Normailly I'd say try to find the owner, but if you just found it on the street, it's unlikely that you could find the true owner even if you want to.

There's probably a phone number on it to call to find out if there's a balance left on it, and what it is. It' s possible that it was never paid for and activated, in which case it would be worthless.

Id call the # on the back of the card & check the balance. It might have been on the ground because it was used. Otherwise, Go for it!

You can use it. It's just like finding cash on the street. Gift cards are nothing like credit cards. Finders keepers losers weepers!

there is no way of finding the owner
and when you use a gift card at a store they dont have names on them, and they dont check id's so its just as good as using cash.
you're lucky.. :)
i wish i found one

i would be very careful since someone may have stolen it and dropped it there for someone to come along and try to use.
