Why is the Trinity so hard for people to grasp? True, we can not FULLY understand the Trinity, but what human mind can fully understand he almighty, living God?

Jesus tells his apostles to baptize "in the name [notice, singular, not plural] of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matt. 28:19). This is a proof-text: three distinct Persons united in the one divine name. In 2 Corinthians 13:14, Paul writes, "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all." We see this same unity of divine Persons in 1 Corinthians 12:4–11, Ephesians 4:4–6, and 1 Peter 1:2–3.

The Bible clearly teaches that Jesus is God (cf. John 8:58, 10:38, 14:10; Col. 2:9). It also clearly teaches that the Holy Spirit is God (cf. Acts 5:3–4, 28:25–28; 1 Cor. 2:10–13). Everyone agrees the Father is God. Yet there is only one God (Mark 12:29, 1 Cor. 8:4–6, Jas. 2:19). How can we hold all four truths except to say all three are One God?

And yes, Jesus DID say he was God. In John 8:58, when quizzed about how he has special knowledge of Abraham, Jesus replies, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I Am"—invoking and applying to himself the personal name of God—"I Am" (Ex. 3:14). His audience understood exactly what he was claiming about himself. "So they took up stones to throw at him; but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple" (John 8:59).

Also significant are passages that apply the title "the First and the Last" to Jesus. This is one of the Old Testament titles of Yahweh: "Thus says Yahweh, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, Yahweh of armies: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; besides me there is no god’" (Is. 44:6; cf. 41:4, 48:12).

Does anyone not understand these Scriptures?

our earthly families are created in the image and likeness of the perfect and true family: The HOly Trinity (God). We can know who God is and live out his life through our own earthly familes. God bless.

The Trinity is God's way of saying, "We all are equal, my son, the spirit, and I." You see, If you can't understand, pretend trinity is something like God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is just ONE person, sometimes one part comes out.
Sounds gross, but yeah, that's the easy way. I hope you get the idea! "The Lord is one, the Lord is all."

If it is so important to Christian belief, how come the word trinity, or the explicit doctrine are nowhere found in the Holy Scriptures?
I do not have anything personally against Catholics, except that\
they are the largest clearing house of pagan doctrines, grafted onto Jesus' teachings in history!
Otherwise, why would you promote Christmas or Easter, the two most obviously pagan traditions grafted onto Christianity?

1 John 2:18-26 and 1 John 4:16"GOD IS LOVE"

If GOD is ETERNAL LOVE then the TRINITY is most logical as well as most profound and awesome.
Since God the Ultimate is infinite,eternal,All-Loving,All-Perfect,All-Good,All-Wise ,etc.,He has to be more than one "person" or hypostasis even while being absolutely and perfectly one and the unity of Being/"MetaBeing".

God would have to be radically Personal/"MetaPersonal"if All-Wise,Infinite,All-Good,etc. and would have to be "some sort of community'" in Himself if Eternal,Infinite and Ultimate Love.
If God were only one person,He could be Eternal Egotism but not Eternal Love. Who is there to Love if God were only one person in all eternity? To whom would He offer Himself in service and "self-gifting"?
The TRINITYof the ONE GOD is this ETERNAL COMMUNITY OF LOVE.
The Father the Unbegotten eternally offers Himself in Love to His Word the Son the Only Begotten and their Love is so perfect ultimate, eternal and infinite that that is the Hypostasis of the Holy Spirit, the Ever-Proceeding. Each Person of the identical being, substance, essence and nature of God the Trinity is equal and eternal.

Please ,everybody, check out the ATHANASIAN Creed as well as the NICENE CREED,as well as the CATECHISM OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH #238-267. God bless you and thank you for considering God's pffer of Love.

Where in that verse says that they are three persons or are equal in power or are the same person, not because you mention three names or thing means that are the same thing.

in 1 John 5:7-8 "For there are (N)three that testify:
8 the Spirit and the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.

So that means that the water , the blood and the spirit are the same person and are equal in power or are the same person?

Not for women, there has been a tradition of the triple godess since the stone age, preceding judaism, the root of christianity for millenia.
