Is there any way that I can improve my vision or at least stop it from worsening?

One of your eyes is 20/300. The other is 20/350. That's pretty bad myopia. Myopia means you are nearsighted. That means you can see things that are real close (near) to you. But you can't see things farther away. Your vision is pretty bad, but very common. You wouldn't be able to get a driver's license with that vision!! You need to wear contact lenses or glasses. Wearing them you should be able to see 20/20 our of both eyes. Even better, you may be able to see 20/15 with one or both eyes. An optometrist is an eye doctor. He/She figures out your vision by having you read that chart (You can probably see the big E, but that's about it!.) With computers and machines, the doctor can pinpoint the exact prescription for you to see at least 20/20 out of each eye. Nowadays, they do a procedure called "Lasik" surgery. You would go to an ophthalmologist for that. That's an eye doctor who went to medical school, so he can actually write prescriptions. He's a real MD. Most people have real good luck with Lasik, and can see 20./20 without glasses or contacts! That's seems like a miracle to anyone over 30! But you have to be real careful if you're going to get surgery on your eyes. You have to investigate and make sure the ophthalmologist has had good results, has done at least 100 surgeries, and isn't over-charging. I hope that clears it up for you. Bye-Bye! :)

Your approximate visual acuity is 20/300 and 20/350. For exact visual acuity you have to ask you doctor when you go to the next checkup.

There is a way to stop your vision from worsening and even improve your vision. The treatment is called natural vision correction and it consists of many different eye exercises and techniques. The efficiency of eye exercises is debated by many people, but they work!!! I was able to completely improve my own vision within a few months with eye exercises to the contrary of what eye doctors told me! My prescription was -1.00 D with astigmatism on both eyes. I can see perfectly now.

You must exercise your eyes every day. You will notice temporary improvements within a few days but for a permanent improvements you'll need to do exercises for a few months.

20/20 means I can see clearly at 20 feet things I should expect to see at 20 feet. 20/100 means I can see clearly at 20 feet things than others with good eyesight can see clearly at 100 feet. My left eye vision is 20/600 which means my left eye is essentially useless for any practical purposes. My grandson is in a small minority of people who have 20/15 in both eyes which means he can see clearly at 20 feet objects almost everyone else has to get 5 ft closer to before they can see the object clearly.

Your presciription is at the top end of the "mild" range, just bordering on moderate. So not too bad.

If you want to know your unaided acuity or aided acuity (20/XX), you will have to ask your eye doctor. You cannot calculate acuity from prescription.

There is no way to prevent your eyes from getting worse, usually they stop getting worse between age 16 and 25.
