he will be fine with two medium sized meals a day.

My 60lb Weimaraner and 50lb Lab mix get two meals a day, the Weimaraner gets 1 cup morn and 1cup at night, the lab since she's on a diet she gets 1/2 cup morning and 1/2 cup at night. Breaking up the food into two smaller meals will help decrease the chances of bloat rather than giving one large meal.

I have two blue heelers and a jack russell. I feed them at breakfast time and at dinner time. Look on the bag of dog food at the feeding guidelines. If it says that you should feed your dog 2 cups of food a day, then you can give it 1 cup at breakfast time and 1 cup at dinner time. For example.
Good Luck!

I myself feed only once a day but it's by preference really there is no set rule to when and how to feed the dog just follow the directions on the package and remember the amount is for the total for the day not each feeding

Its really depends on your sechdule. I tend to feed my dog a small size breakfast of dry kibble and then at dinner i give it a bigger size meal of mixed dry kibble and Homestyle Select.

Feeding less and more often is always beneficial for the dog.
But that's just my opinion.

Whichever is more convenient for you. Our dogs were always free-fed, so they ate on their own schedule.
