so, I have to have 2 modern examples of people who were persecuted for righteousness sake for an assignment. Is there anyone who can think of one??
It could be someone who:
-is willing to suffer for the sake o love or justice
-will do the right thin even if it means that they will be abused or made fun of
-shows strength in the face of adversity

I said modern, right? I just thought of one, but I can't remember the person's name. It was a black woman who sat at the front of the bus when black people were supposed to sit at the back. Does anyone know her name?

Go to the voice of the martyrs website they have examples galore in their newsletter, so I'm guessing you'll find examples on their site as well.
A recent example off the top of my head a North Korean Christian nicknamed "Pencil" who was martyred by the PRK gov.
EDIT: Rosa Parks was the woman on the bus.

Christians on R&S speak the truth according to their faith, and in return they are harassed, mocked, and derided by jerks.
