I do not do well with swallowing pills so those are out of the question. I do not wish to have stretch marks and drooped skin once I do lose the weight. How can I go about this?

Anything over 15 pounds a month is unhealthy. You should aim to lose 2-3 pounds a week (8-12 pounds a month).

Restrict yourself between 1200-1800 calories a day to effectively lose weight.

Stay away from sugar, white bread, cakes and stuff like that. Drink alot of water.

It's basically that simple, the hard part is too actually follow it and defeat your cravings, but the method is fairly simple.

Get at least 20 minutes of moderate pace (a little faster then you usually walk) of excercise.

When you get cravings eat something sweat like a fruit, and fiber makes you feel full longer.

Good Luck!

There is no safe way to lose that much weight in one month. You might, with very strict diet, under supervision of a MD and personal trainer be able to lose 30 lbs in a month. It's hard work, and a daily workout to do. I've seen it done on Extreme Makeovers with Michael Thurmond as the personal trainer and those 3 people ate 6 small meals a day and worked out vigorously too.

Your metabolism will not allow you to go on a fast
for more than a few days. After just 24 hours, your
stomach would be growling so loudly--and hurting
so badly--you wouldn't be able to stand it!
The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) RDA
(Recommended Daily Allowance) is a diet of 2,000
calories per day; but that's the basic minimum. And
although some people can live with less, a lot of
people need much more.
Losing as much as 50 lbs. would take the better
part of an entire year!

Best of health & good luck.

Use your common sense and decide the reason for which you are trying to acomplish such a tremendous task, might it be worth it at the end?

If you really want to loose weight choose discipline, excercise, a sensible diet (stretch marks could vanish if you have a young skin and unstretch it slowly) Always supervised by a doctor. Of course lipo and plastic surgery might work too, but they are not permanent and remember: easy come, easy go!

It is a BAD IDEA to lose more than 5 pounds in a week- you HAVE to eat- make good choices- fruits veges and water, dried beans for protein if you are young. Walk/ run/aerobic exercise--your body will go into starvation mode if you don't eat at all and the weight will be even harder to get off. In order to lose it and keep it off, you have to eat for energy and exercise and burn more calories than you take in. Your body will also start to burn more calories the more you exercise and build up muscle. I could share with you for days about the stuff- anorexia and bulimia almost killed me- my teeth are totally shot. There is no save way to lose 50 pounds in a month, but its possible to do it in 2 with ALOT of hard work and good food choices. You Will have stretch marks if you do it too fast- no matter how young or old you are.

First, 50 lbs in one month, maybe if you smoke crack or snort cocaina. Way too much weight for one month; if you want to lose 50 lbs in one year, that is a whole different stories.
50 lbs without having stretch marks and droopy skin, you will need surgery unless you take a long time to lose the 50 lbs.

Try and if you only lose 40 you will live. There are more diets than ever and more people dieting than ever and yet we have the fattest society ever. So a lot of these ideas about losing weight, make you fatter. Cutting calories, carbs and fats can cause you to have a weight problem for life. It is better to eat differently.

See site below and learn why meat and non-fat yogurt are so fattening. Also salt has no calories but makes you fat. It also has the quickest weight loss possible. Eat good carbs not bad carbs. Nourish your body thin, instead of starving your body fat. Eat foods made by nature and avoid foods made by man which are designed to make you fat and very addicted to food.

In order to lose the weight without getting loose skin you would need to a lot of sculpting. You may want to go on "The Biggest Loser". They work out 6 to 8 hours a day. Do lots of pilates.

I don't think losing 50 pounds in 1 month is healthy but I suppose consulting with your doctor is best. Get yourself on a healthy diet with vegetables, fruits, lean protein, drinking plenty of water everyday. And despite how you feel about it, you have to EXERCISE! At least 30 min/day.

Or try to get selected on the "Biggest Loser." They seem to lose a lot of weight in very little time. That Jillian...what a crazy training machine....

You can't. Try Weight Watchers. You may loose 10 pounds in the first week, and then maybe 2 each week after. You should start working out at a gym. If you can't do that, then walk as much as you possible can every day, more than once a day.
