Many people hate them because they driving big trucks. Other because they make good money? Why do you hate them?

Why would anyone ask a question like this? Truck drivers get a bad rap when it comes to driving. Most of the time it is the people in the smaller cars that are the disrespectful drivers. They cut the semis off, they tailgate them, they pull in front of them and stop short. Most drivers tend to treat semis as another car. They forget that they weigh more than 20 times more than cars and are usually about 4 times longer than cars.
If we, the driver of the smaller vehicles, would treat them with respect then we would see them treat us the same way. Try to remember that these drivers have usually been on the road for more than a couple of hours and have had more people treat them badly than we do in our hour comutes.

Not all truckers make big money,especially if you get paid by the mile.After you figure out the time spent driving,unloading,loading,waiting for dispatch,sitting in traffic,being held up by bad weather,and being ripped off at truckstops,YOU WILL SOON LEARN THAT maybe a career at Wall Mart may be more lucrative.As for hating truckers,I only hate them when they smell,and there are plenty of truckstops with showers.And I hate them when they act stupid behind the wheel.And there are a lot of bad truck drivers out there.These are things that give truckers a bad image.AND BY THE WAY,I DRIVE A TRUCK!

I don't: my dad is a truck driver and I can tell you he doesn't make a ton of money. He does however put up with jerks who cut him off and people who think you can stop a rig with a trailer in the same space you can stop a Honda. Have some respect for truckers and share the road!

Thank you hypergforce....I am a woman trucker and I am not scary and I didn't make a lot of money...and I would never RUN PEOPLE OFF THE ROAD! Yes, I was an 18 wheeler, cross country and loved it. I really didn't see the money, that was my ex-hubbies doing.l...i just drove the truck. I hope you will change your mind on not liking truckers...big 10-4 good buddy!! =0

Why would anyone hate truck drivers?These men and woman are trained pros.They are some of the best drivers on the road.You should try driving for a living.Then you would have more resepct for them.

I don't hate them. I have found that if you don't do stupid things around the trucks, they won't do stupid things around you.

I WOULDN'T SAY I HATE THEM,BUT THEY ARE ABUSIVE ON THE COUNT THEY HAVE BIG RIGS,AND WANT TO RUN OVER EVERY ONE!
