I have to wake up at 5:45 every morning in order to travel to work. Every morning I eat my breakfast while 3/4 asleep. I need a method to be more lively and enthusiastic in the morning. Any good ideas? Help is very much appreciated.

I am not a morning person either, but I found that when I got up before class and went to the gym, I had a lot more energy throughout the day and It wasn't a problem for me to go to bed when I got home later that day and started over the next morning.

I used to have to be at work at 6:15. Number one. GO TO BED. Most people who have trouble don't go to bed at a decent hour. When I got up, I took my shower first. That worked very well to wake me up followed by a.m. coffee (perking due to timer). I'd spend a 1/2 hour visiting with my 2 kitties and then off to work.

go to bed earlier so that you can wake up with plenty of time to prepare for the day and not feel so rushed.

there was many a day when I would have to get up at 4:00am to hit the gym, eat and be ready to start the commute to work by 6:30 am.

One word: CAFFEINE!!

Get one of those coffeemakers where you can set the time, and the coffee is ready and smelling up the joint when you wake up. Works for me!! Good luck!! :)
