St Marwenne Cream Cheese
There always seem to be new cheeses to discover: a new one to me is this simply wonderful cream cheese. Neet Foods (they're based near Bude, beside the River Neet) make these delicious cream cheese balls. This is real fresh cheese - made within 24 hrs of milking. About the size of a marble, they're presented in sunflower oil with fresh garlic, herbs and red peppercorns. If you're thinking they can't taste as good as they look, well, you'll just have to trust me: they really really do! See also the goats' milk version.
Available in a 200g jar or as a 1kg catering pack (plastic tub).
Vegetarian.

You can find it at a lot of places including grocery stores or whole foods markets. Try looking for it there. If you have not luck, then to make a good substitute, have some marscarpone cheese instead or whip together some ricotta and sour cream. Both are great variations to a creamy cream cheese :)

Sure you can still buy it. It's available in all your supermarkets. It's usually placed in an area around the sour cream, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, etc.
A lot of small retail stores in my area, such as Dollar General, Fred's & Family Dollar, have installed a "cooler section" inside their stores. I noticed the other day while shopping inside one of them, Cream Cheese was being sold there too. If you have one of the stores I mentioned above in your area, why not give them a try? You might be surprised at what they have to offer!
Good luck & happy shopping:)

The old fashioned cream cheese does not appear to be available now. However, you can buy it in plastic containers in the supermarkets, either brand names or the supermarkets own brand. These product is usually kept where the butter and cheese are displayed.

Are you talking about the proper cream cheese. I used to work in a cafe that always had it, it came from a food wholesalers, it was a big tub which looked like vanilla ice cream. The company name was "Holsons".

Yes. It's not w/ the cheeses (like Cheddar, Swiss). It's in the refrigerated dairy scetion w/ the yogurts, sour cream, and cottage cheese.

i know what you mean, the tasty full fat cream cheese that you got in the deli section, spooned from a large container into a pot of your choosing! it has been hard to find, my children love it. low fat versions are the norm now and they are not as nice!! i tend to stick to philidelphia soft cheese as an alternative. good luck with your search!!!
