To Yahoo Answers Management:
Moon is always polite, kind and considerate. Her questions are fun to answer and non-threatening and they have never violated guidelines. Her account being summarily deleted without a second glance by Yahoo is disturbing to me, a long time Yahoo customer. Someone with the reputation of Moon and on level 7 should have been given serious thought and consideration before being deleted. The source of the complaints/reports should be thoroughly investigated. This is Yahoos' responsibility as Yahoo has promised to keep this forum a safe and enjoyable place for your customers. Yahoo, when will you comply with that promise?
I respectfully and strongly request that you investigate this thoroughly; Moon is not the only one being affected by trolls and Yahoo's seeming carelessness in this regard.
Thank you in advance for your prompt and responsible actions on this matter.

I think that every nice thing that could deservedly be said about
Moon ,has by now been said by her many friends.
But then again, for a special one like Moon they can never be stressed enough.
I still don't know what could possibly got her suspended, if you'd
put a profile together of what ( and who ) would be an exemplary
Yahoo Answers user you would probably end up with Moon.
She's active, thoughtful, friendly, polite, considerate, stars and thumbs up questions, leaves friendly and encouraging comments .....and so on, and so on.
The lady is a gem !!!.
Yahoo Answers now prides itself on creating ' Trusted Reporters' which sounds like a bit of a doubtful honour to me.
But what they should do, is to create such a thing as a' trusted
user ' surely the occasional violation notice can be offset by
myriads of stars and thumbs up collected after answering and
asking many valuable questions ?.
Surely regular users deserve some kind of protection, they've
earned it !.
And why suspend people for minor infringements, or a very occasional one.
Dock them points, demote them 1 level if necessary.
Nobody who gets to level 7 gets there if they keep breaking
the community guidelines, people spewing hate, trolling and falsely
reporting people would not get beyond level 2.
Because if we as a community sheepishly accept what happens to Moon
and others we're basically playing Russian Roulette with our
accounts.
The more time and effort we put in it, the more questions we answer and pose the bigger the risk of being bumped of.
Years of work and memories can be wiped away in an instant
surely this is disproportionate punishment.
So Moon, hoping against hope I'll lodge another protest to the
answers team to get you reinstated .
( I'm convinced you'll be reading all our answers )
I tried y_answrs_team@yahoo.com provided by Valac Gypsy but they haven't even bothered to react yet.
So now I'm going to try answers-abuse@cc.yahoo-inc.com
as provided by the defiant Shabarak ( Thanks ! )
And see if this will make a difference. Feel free to join !.

And Thanks for the great initiative Uncle Wayne.

Moon has always answered questions with fairness and deep compassion for the asker. At no time have I seen an offensive comment in anything she has written. She is a shinning light and example of how to conduct oneself on Yahoo Answers and has helped many through difficult times with her kindness. Her suspension is a further example of unwarranted reporting and non-human moderation of the report system.

Moon is a sensitive person and this suspension has been a shocking and hurtful process for her. She has received threatening E-mails from a user that has stated that is his intention to get her and her contacts accounts deliberately suspended, this adds further weight to this unjustified action by Yahoo and further condemnation of an unfair system.

To add further insult Moon is a amongst my most respected contacts and has become a dear and cherished friend by E-mail. I can only say that I am sickened and appalled by Yahoos lack of response and investigation of this matter.

My dear friend Moon, I feel your pain as I would my own. You are loved and cherished by myself and many. My heart and best wishes go out to you always.

Uh, I was going to write about how appalled I was to hear that her account got deleted but then I checked and it's still there and I see that she starred your question. Hmmmm. Is there 2 moons :)???? I know now. I feel very bad for her. She is a sweet person. I think people at lower levels hate to see us who have been on here a long time reach a high level. We will surely sign a petition for her.

I don't know "Moon," but I think it is wrong for them to delete an account without warning. I think they should send an email to the person that was reported and give them a chance to fix whatever they feel is wrong, and then if they do not fix it within a reasonable amount of time, then they could be deleted. For example: If some one has put a pornography picture on their profile, then they should send a warning to remove it or have the account deleted, and then give them time to remove it. Or if some one has put an offensive answer or question on there they should just remove that answer or question and then send a warning about the guide lines. It takes a lot of time to get to a new level on here, and I don’t think it should be taken away without warning. †

I don't know moon personally, but I have never seen a question or answer from her that was objectionable. She seems to be a thoughtful, loving, and very personable person. There are certain people I look for on here, and she is one of them. Silly and sweet. Much better than some of the folks that you know will give angry, argumentative answers, but who never seem to be in trouble. She is a splendid treasure. Sorry moon that this isn't your question or I'd give you a star. But I gave it to Uncle and I'm sure he'll pass it on. Moon and stars go together.

I cannot think of a single negative word to describe Moon. No seriously I can't.

I don't think that Moon can be described in anything but a positive light.

So I give you a little impromptu poetry:

She is the single most brilliant light, guiding us through the darkness of night.
And while shadows creep, threatening the peaceful stillness, there is a promise of hope.

Moon will rise again.

puter problems have kept me out of the fray for awhile, so I do not remember anything about her but, I know sometimes it takes very little to get violations and it leaves you scratching your head while other times some things go by without even a second look by the powers that be here. It doesn't make sense and I agree with the person that said if someone is going to be axed---then they should receive warning with a probation period so if it is just a Troll trying to get to them they can at least lay low for awhile and not run into the trap.

The deletion of the level 7 one known as Moon is a wonderful illustration of all the things that are wrong with customer care and their arbitrary way of enforcing the community guidelines.
I don't think it is right to delete or suspend any one with an auto-response. Please reconsider.

Moon is a wonderful person and has always been nice to me and my friends. She is a respectful and very friendly person. And, has contributed plenty to Y!A by making people happy.

She has only been a contact of mine for a very short time. I saw that she was a kind and caring person by her posts. She was a peacemaker, and I never read one question or answer of hers that remotely violated a Community Guideline. It seems strange to me that many of the recently deleted accounts have belonged to some of your best citizens of this site, while the hatemongers rage on. I implore your staff to review her history.
