You said,
"At this point, god can not be proven nor disproven."
I would take issue with you on that statement.
I do believe that you do not have proof, since you said what you said. But I do have proof, though it's not up to me to give out the proof, it was given to me by someone else. That someone else holds on to the proof and gives it out according to what He wishes.
So because you do not have the proof, it doesn't mean that no one else has it.
So right now I can testify of the proof which is evidence. It is the Testimonial Evidence that I can bring to you at any given time.
You also said;
"So each idea of who/what god is, has equal evidence and merit( which is none; in my opinion). "
I take issue with you on that account.
There is far more merit in the opinion of a well taught, well studied person who has a concentration of information to relate to others. Relativism is a mistake in my opinion, and those who practice it do have a probability of maintaining errant views IF there are any 'truths' which are absolute. Predetermining that there are no absolute truths has less value than remaining undecided IF those discussing it really do not know. That is my opinion which would then have to be demonstrated if the need was necessary.
You also said:
"Therfore, disputing over religion at this point in time, results in circular debates, with no concrete conclusions."
Only if there really isn't an honest mind in the room, or an ability to communicate the life changing issues that it would involve.
Then you wrote:
"Are any of these premises completely false?"
No.

Let us take a look at religion. Man has a desire to communicate with the higher being. So he creates a religion, in which he attempts to reach the standards needed to communicate with God. So God is not a religion, God is the higher being. Man attempts to reach God through his man made religion. However this can not be done, if it could be done, then God would be no higher than what man can reach on his own. If this were the case, then God would be no different than man.
Here is the truth. God does not want religion, God wants a personal relationship with His creation. God has holy standards, no man can reach. To accomplish this togetherness of man and God, He had to come to earth, pay the price for mans short comings and give man the Holy Spirit to live inside him and become one with his spirit.
Religion has nothing to do with true Christian Faith. I refer to the true Christians, as Believers, because Christianity has left the world with the wrong idea of what Jesus preached, and what God wants.

Completely false maybe not.
You are basically right so I give you kudos. However since I can not be basically disproved I get kudos too.
This conversation has been going on since the beginning of language.
It is interesting and as individual as the stars in heaven (which I believe).
The only shred of proof I have to offer is it seems people who believe seem to have longer & more joy filled lives than the non-believers. Coincedence I think not.

When you believe in a higher awareness then our own, the proof of God's love begins to fill your heart.
His ways are not our ways. It's worth looking into, ask Jesus.

What I feel in my heart is what I believe and I'm only trying to share that feeling with others. Take it or leave it, But it is my duty to God by my own choice to try to spread the great feeling of contentment he instills in my heart.

I'm going to let the Bible do the talking....
2 Timothy 3:1-15 (New International Version)
Godlessness in the Last Days
1But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.
6They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, 7always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth. 8Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth—men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. 9But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.
Paul's Charge to Timothy
10You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance, 11persecutions, sufferings—what kinds of things happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra, the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them. 12In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, 13while evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, 15and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
