My former foster mom used to get upset when bill collectors would call for my former foster grandma (her mom), & we'd tell them she's dead. Well, she is dead. & she told us we should just tell them my foster grandma is really busy & to call back later.

My parents hate it when I lie!!! They have never taught me that lying is ever ok! I guess under certain, special circumstances it would be ok but in my world, it is never ok to lie. If I lie, they will lose the trust they have in me, and Im well educated in knowing this. So basically, it is never ok to lie to anyone. Its considered as a sin!

Who knows. I couldn't get through the day without lying to someone. "Oh, yes, I think that hair color brings out your eyes." Or whatever. I just try to remember that sometimes my kids tell the truth!

yeah when you figure this one out let me know. I have some family like that, they teach their kids to lie about stuff but then hit their kids when they lie to them. It makes no sense

I think they just dont want a hassle but they want them to be trustworthy.
