I bought some hamburger on friday and today is sunday. It has never been frozen and has been in the fridge the whole time. Is it okay to eat?

It should be perfectly fine. Look at it, is it still a healthy red? Smell it, does it smell off? Open it and feel it, there is a huge difference between good and bad hamburger.

Funny you ask this question as I just had a pound of ground beef in my fridge that had been there for 4 or 5 days. lol I took it out and it had no odor and was still a nice color so I browned it with garlic, onion and black pepper and then cooled it slightly and put it in a freezer bag marked "1 Lb. cooked ground beef w/onion,garlic and black pepper", now I can take it out and use it in meat sauce, tacos (adding more seasonings) or just about any casserole I need hamburger for and the meat did not go to waste.

Yes it should still be good. Check it and make sure it smells okay. You do need to get it used because it will go bad in a few days.

It's fine. I bought 5 pounds of ground beef on Friday, and didn't use it. So I just portioned it up, wrapped it and froze it today. Perfectly fine.
