What are the cognates in these prayers? I need help. I don't understand.

LATIN PRAYER HAIL MARY.
Ave, Maria, gratia plena.
Benedicta tu in mulieribus,
Et benedictus fructus ventris tuis, Iesus.
Sancta Maria, mater Dei,
ora pro nobis peccataoribus,
Nunc et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.

LATIN PRAYER GLORY BE
Gloria Patri, et Filio, et Spiritu Sancto.
Sicut erat in principio,
et nunc, et semper, et in saecula saeculorum. Amen.

The cognates are the words derived from Latin words. They will have same/similar spelling or spelling features, and their meanings will almost always be directly related. There will be some occasional surprises, though.

Going through the Hail Mary:

Gratia - gratitude
Plena - Plenty
Benedicta - Benediction
Fructus - fructose (fruit sugar)
Ventris - vent
Sancta - sanctify
Mater - maternal
Ora - oration (this one changed a bit in meaning)
Peccatoribus (check your spelling) - impeccable
Hora - hour
Mortis - mortician

You get the idea -
