just say "no thanks"...you don't have to literally walk away...because if you're at a party, you still want to party and have fun and hang with your friends. Nowadays it's kinda cool to be the rebel..maybe you can do the cool thing and be the only person not drinking or smoking weed...you only have one body...good for you for deciding to take care of it....

go volunteer at a soup kitchen.
or a salvation army hospital.
meet the people whose lives are ruined. meet the meth addict that used to be a beauty queen but now has no teeth an dsores on their skin.
meet the alocholic that cares for nothing else.
meet the smoker that has a hole in his neck and talks like a robot.
and remember how COOL they are.
get a before and after picture of a Meth or Heroin addict to show to people that offer it to you.
and as far as weed goes. have you even known a pot smoker that was at the top of their game?. read the Darwin awards about the stoners trying to sneak into a metallica concert...
and when people try to pressure you to do drugs, just say..
"hey i know a guy that selld that stuff. but he only sells to Idiots and A**Holes..so where did you get it?"
they will back off.

Sad to say, but drugs are everywhere (and getting worse) and alcohol is legal. You will be pressured to join in by your friends, if not now, later on for certain. Thankfully, you are asking the right questions now and this shows that you have a good mind.
Do you think that you could talk to your school counsellor, or you might try joining a group for teens with parents that are alcoholics (call your local AA for info - don't be shy). These groups can be very helpfull.

There is a lot of pressure from your peers. If you could think of something to say to them that you feel comfortable about, such as "no", "My parents would kill me", "I don't want to end up in prison","I hear some people end up with major brain damage from using that stuff", "they look weird acting like that". In other words, where you feel totally okay with saying no, no matter what any one says to you. There are people who will lay on the pressure. If you think ahead of time what you might say, you are more likely to follow through doing it that way.

Remember! you have a choice, you can just say No............
You are the one who determines certain destines concerning
your life, faith is a strong tool, it is a substance of things hoped for and the evidence of eternal things not yet known
until it is time for you to know. You are your own person and
you do not have to follow the crowd you can lead with a positive path. Think first before you do something immature
stay focused, drug free and sober. I wish you well..........

Just tell them no.......and try to hang with other people who don't do drugs, that way you won't be tempted. Growing up is hard, stick up for yourself and have no regrets, now or later.

Just say no, mean it and walk away....you won't be fun now, but will in all likelihood save your life in one way or another.
