someone cancel one of my questions if it was a prayer request... i mean its not my first prayer request in this and i see people do it all the time.
but why would you do that? i need help and you guys flag me to remove my question, i think that so rude.
all i wanted was prayer that my finance problems were going to get better and i get flagged for that, thats do stupid and mean.

I'm sorry people in this forum were rude to you. It has happened to me before. Your reward in Heaven is great when you are persecuted for the name of Jesus.
We live in a fallen, sin-scarred world, and, because of this, life isn't always the way we wish it were.
At the same time, God often has lessons to teach us when we face problems and adversity. He also can use life's hard experiences to knock the rough edges off our lives and change us into the people He wants us to be. Have you ever stopped to ask God what He wants to do in your lives through this experience? The psalmist prayed, "Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths" (Psalm 25:4).
What does He want to teach you? I can't answer this question for you—but I urge you to seek it with a humble heart and an open mind. Perhaps He wants to change your attitude; perhaps He wants to give you new goals in life. Whatever it is, put Christ first in your life, and then ask Him to help you trust Him and not let the things of this world crush your spirit or dominate your thinking. The Apostle Paul said, "I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances" (Philippians 4:11).
Then get practical help for your financial problems. Perhaps a wise businessman in your church or a nonprofit financial counseling agency in your community can help you find ways to tackle your debts and budget your finances. God often answers our prayers by bringing people into our lives who can help us.

Censorship is horrible, and I don't agree with it, even for a wet request like yours.
But don't be too quick to blame other in R&S, especially not those whose views you disagree with. Sometimes Yahoo admins do this, especially since prayer requests are specifically targeted as not being question and so contrary to the T&Cs.
And whatever you do, DON'T retaliate against those you suspect are responsible. You'll be wrong, and you'll start a feud.

Just an FYI, Yahoo deletes all prayer requests as a violation of guidelines.

i really dont understand why it would be against yahoo to request, or ask, for prayer when you are in religion and spirituality. its dumb. remember what goes around comes around! GBU
I hope everythings gets better tho, remember everything happens for a reason. All you gotta do is trust in the Lord, he will provide =)

I'm not one who flagged your prayer request, but I can understand why they did. This forum has a particular purpose: to ask questions and look for answers. A prayer request doesn't fit that purpose. Don't you think it rude to clog up R&S with things that don't belong? Don't you think it rude to not follow the rules? Why are you exempt from the rules, and why is it rude for others to point your indiscretion out?

It is a violation of the TOS. There are loads of places where you can post your prayer request. This isn't one of them.
But, I only report people who are racist, disgusting, or nasty in some way. I find prayer request more of an annoyance than something I would report.

I didn't report you, but there are solely christian forums for that kind of thing. This is a question and answer board, so technically you were violating the TOS.
I don't report things like that (I would only report blatant racist trolls or the like), but some people may think you are abusing the system.

I think prayer requests are not allowed technically in Yahoo! Answers because it is a form of solicitation.
