If I owned a bar, I would call it, "Pangaea"!

But to answer your question, no, that wasn't it. When the Israelites blew their horns to bring down the walls of jerrico, it caused a butterfly to flap its wings. That caused a hurricane that caused an Earthquake that caused the Pangaea to split really fast.

The people who were on the wrong side of the Pangaea were cursed with peace and prosperity while the people on the right side of the Pangaea were blessed with organized religion.

study those scriptures relating to the Tower of Babel. all people spoke one language in that day. yet as a results of a erroneous chief who theory he ought to attain heaven, he has his subjects build a tower to objective to attain heaven. God and his angels see this and remark on what we are doing. At this fee, those human beings can be able to end something. So, to resign this miguided use of individuals and technologies, God fragments the language into many distinctive languages. because of the fact then, any Biblical writings have had to be translated. On an attractive be conscious, the be conscious Babel ability perplexed. in recent times, we use the be conscious jointly with, "he became into babbling too lots."

I personally believe that the seperation of the continents happened during the great flood. The Bible clearly says that it not only rained for 40 days but that the earth opened up and waters flowed. There ya have it.

just my opinion

I figure if Noah could make a big boat( it really wasnt a boat, no stearing or rudders)..his ancestors could make small boats to get to other places in the world.

Probably not.

Everything I've studied says that the Tower of Babel incident was an allegory, not a historical fact.

Also, in the time frame of geology, the separation of Pangea was a couple of billion years before that.

"the earth continued to be of one language and one set of words...and they began to say let's build ourselves a city and also a tower with it's top in the heavens and let us make a celebrated name for ourselves for fear we maybe scattered over all the surface of the earth." genesis 11.

"Jehovah said look they are one people adn there is one language for them all and this is what they start to do why now there is nothing that they may have in mind to do that will be unattainable for them. come now let us go down and there confuse their language that they may not listen to one anothers language."

think about it "there is nothing that they may have in mind that will be unattainable to for them". that is incredible, they could of advanced technologically way before now and destroyed this planet with nuclear capabilities. man has been held back until now otherwise we would of been destroyed along time ago.

Now think again, man lived for thousands of years with little technological advancement, until the 1800's man still fought hand to hand, there may have been minor technology advancements, but since we hit the 1900's we have been advancing technologically at a severe rapid rate.

we have advanced more in 100 years than all the 6000 previous. Just conincidentally? we have been come to the conclusion of the chronological time period recorded in the bible of when the last days begin (daniel)(mark matt) when the preaching work begins in earnest and christedoms declining powerbase.dan 7 mark 13, matt 24 luke 21 rev 13:11-15 rev17:3-6

And conincidentally we have come to the point of prophecy fulfillments of the world powers (john writter of rev) was in the sixth world power. the bible says 7 world powers and we are in the seveth, and the eigth world power that springs from the seventh would only rule one hour, (united nations manifested itself in 1945) just as was said before it even happened.

then of course you have ww1, ww2 and other wars that have devasted whole countries and economies of whole countries. these are not called world war 1 and 2 for nothing. We have major earthquakes in degrees and numbers than in times past, (someone mentioned that they now have a device that can triggor earthquakes along fault lines which was interesting to know) Jesus didnt say why there would be great earthquakes like never before, maybe this is what he meant. incidentally noahs sons language was not confused they still spoke the original language we know as hebrew, tho not necessarily the hebrew of today however.

There is more shall I continue?

Yes.
1 Chronicles even suggests when it happened.
18And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.

19And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided: and his brother's name was Joktan.

20And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,

Yes. Everyone was trying to build a tower to heaven. He didnt like that so he separated them by language so they couldnt communicate.
